It is painful! Please don't tell people it is not painful. I hope never to have it again. I had it twice. The reason people can't stay still during the precedure is because it is brutally painful. Doctors should experience the procedure before telling people that these lasers aren't painful.

can lutein supplement 20mg daily help with retinal or vitreous detachment ?? Or can make it worse?

I don’t know about the recovery being so quick. I’ve been prescribed eye drops (about 8 a day combination of Pred-Forte and Cyclopentolate), and my eye has stayed dilated since (on day 3 since the lasers now). Been told to continue with the drops for 2 weeks which means funny vision (sensitive to light and can’t focus vision on anything close to me). So still another 10 days or so sitting indoors not able to drive, exercise or anything!

Dear doctor I have done 360 degree peripheral barrage laser 6 days ago but I am seeing light flickering,/shimmering/ flashing continuously in upper right side of my right eye whereas my lattice was found in lower side of my right eye. This light flickering,/shimmering/ flashing is really difficult for me when work & it break my attention. Is this light flickering,/shimmering/ flashing normal after barrage laser? Can you please tell me about this?
