@@SpazzyjonesGaming You don't have to go and visit fulings for the sharpening stone at all. Actually, you can upgrade your forge to the max as soon as you have iron. And one more tip: you don't have to enter the Swamp to get iron. Just settle down next to it (possibly on elevated ground to avoid the Draugr), wait for the night and shoot/kill the Oozers that will show up. Every fifth or sixth of them will drop scrap iron. With some poison resistance potion they are not dangerous at all. And this also gives access to the ooze bombs, which are actually great against fulings (I always clear the Sealed Tower with ooze bombs, except the miniboss).

Poison arrows are a pretty bad arrow option. Poison damage does not stack, so if you are firing off multiple arrows at once in a relatively close sequence you're losing out on massive damage. Quality 4 Draugur fang with bow skill 50 does 30.2 dps (this 30.2 dps also assumes that you let each poison arrow tick and run out, you'll be losing out on much more damage if you do not wait), wood arrows do 26.2 dps, frost arrows (by far the best option because of the frost control they provide, do 43.1 dps and needle arrows are 38.3 dps. Absolutely do NOT craft poison arrows, just use wood arrows and be cheap or make frost arrows/needle arrows. Sorry bro but that's a terrible suggestion. ❤No hate tho great guide otherwise. I def would've included the huntsman bow. The huntsman bows 4 meter aggro radius (compared to the usual 8 meter aggro radius from all other bows) is a massive tool when clearing out tar blobs (with fire arrows) and pulling 1 fuling at a time.

No worries bro! I have no issues with others pointing out better suggestion. In fact, I encourage people to speak up when I'm wrong ❤ I'm glad you also mentioned the huntsman. Saw another comment on it, but you should have the sharpening wheel before entering the mountain, during/after the swamp. Also the fact that you barely mention the totems as a resource compared to the other couple things when it’s one of the rarer ones is sad. I’m still stuck at 4 and can’t get one to drop. I got plenty of eggs for Moder, though.
@SpazzyjonesGaming9 ай бұрын
Yeah the totems are a little tricky but keep your eyes out for fuling villages or also the fuling towers/outposts. These are relatively rare so you might need to complete one or two plains biomes before finding enough to summon Yagluth Good luck!
@Kedvespatikus9 ай бұрын
Loxes are easy once you have forged a black metal atgeir. The secondary attack of the atgeir stuns them and from that point you can keep 'em staggerlocked (if your stamina allows it). You can also use the Huntsman bow to separate one from the rest of the herd, because that bow has a significantly lesser agro radius (4 m vs the 8 m radius of other bows). So one-by-one you can make short work of them. The black metal atgeir is also very effective against regular fuling berserkers: secondary attack and from that point staggerlock. You still have to be careful with the starred ones, though.
@SpazzyjonesGaming9 ай бұрын
These are really good points. I didn't realize the hunter bow has a lower aggro radius. I just typically use the Draugr bow. Second, I've always been a one handed weapon guy so I've never really given the atgeir a chance. I'll have to try!

No you're correct. I overlooked the fact that you can simply craft them. It may not have been like that in the past but it certainly is now. Thanks for pointing this out!
@lorddata2472Ай бұрын
I usually carry a combination of boar jerky, wolf jerky, and sausages out of convenience as they are very cheap and easy to make. One boar meat makes four sausages and offers a lot of health. You get to a point where you have too much honey to use so jerky is very cost effective and are a good balance of health and stamina. Both boars and wolves can be tamed at the start of the game. Just bring enough wood to keep making fires in the mountains.
