#15. I never have minded the worlds I’ve been in except for one thing. I’ve generated probably 20 or more worlds and I’ve only had 2 where I could find the trader. It’s ridiculous how far away that guy tends to spawn from me. I try to be adapts with my world spawns and roll with what I’m given but that guy always spawns in literally multiple hours away in a place I never reach. I view this guy as essential because he will buy a lot of my junk and is the only way to get the item required to get Thor to personally smite your garbage and that’s just freakin’ awesome.

The mistlands is the best biome. All the losers in here saying they suck are just annoyed they can’t conquer a large section of land. To like the mistlands you have to go with it’s flow more than your own. It’s wild territory, where you should really just be conquering a small area. I personally enjoy a long drawn out section of the game where you have a challenge. I’m not trying to max out the game that fast. Also, you’re all too used to the type of gameplay that’s a fast grind for materials, then you never touch the biome again. It’s not supposed to be factorio. It’s a survival game that scales with progression.

As it stands now people will still rush Ashlands for one simple reason - stone portals. Those should be given earlier. Like mistlands or plains perhaps. Even if it costs like 100 stone and 50 blackmetal + Yaga boss drop. In Vanila Ashlands is too late for a portal that lets you teleport metal/ores

I disagree that the crude bow is the best early deer hunting weapon. Make a flint spear and practice throwing and retrieving it. So. Much. Better. The spear is the most versatile weapon in the game, and it shines in the early game. Doesn't take arrows, has great range, you can have a shield while you wield it, you can handle close combat or ranged combat as required, is easy to upgrade, does lots of damage. Not mentioning this over the crude bow is a complete miss.

The hoe thing is abusing game mechanics thus seen as cheating. So my question is "Why don't just turn down the difficulty or turn off raids then?". For a safe harbor, here again the hoe thing is a nice thing to use and when it doesn't do anything else than keeps your ship safe. I don't think the intention was that every time you land your ship should be destroyed while you explore. Later for teleports just to get that safe spot...

The fishing mechanic is really pissing me off I keep failing it no matter how much stamina I have. I reel in and the fish doesn't move or get any closer. and when it is actually is somehow close enough by pure chance clicking on it doesn't do anything until it breaks free. Fucking hell.
