Yes. And it's fine. The thing is, when new people look up things like this, unless a video is recent, they don't presume it to be relevant. Hence, creators have to make a transposed video of the same matter with tidbuts of extra information every year or two.

One thing about creatine and hairloss. Is the research backing the claim that it does cause hairloss was found to be a fallacy. Most studys that do this fail to understand that creatine usage is mainly found in gym bros aka ppl who are active. People who are active in particular men have a natural increase in testosterone and THAT isnt because of the creatine thats because its user is active individual. That extra amount of test is what leads to chemicals in the body that cause hairloss. Those who don't take creatine are mostly ppl who don't do fitness at all and or barely care about it, these people are found to have worse levels of test across the board. So what happens is researchers mistake natural hairloss that would have occurred anyways and chalk it up to creatine usage because the small poll of the world that utilize creatine are 99% people who are fitness heavy and ppl who are more likely to lose their hair.
@silis4645
@silis4645 7 ай бұрын
Not to mention most studys atleast recent have disproved creatine fault and chalk it up to more user error. Taking too much creatine (15-20gs or more) can increase DHT levels which cause hairloss but the recommended dosage of creatine is only 5g-10gs taking more is completely your fault and the hairloss that could follow is your fault as well not the creatine. Creatine is not to blame for hairloss.

@nattyfatty6.0 while yes there is a ratio im pretty sure it is 0.1g/kg but there still is a upper limit cap that you must adhere to. Any anything over 15gs is excessive and can contribute to problems in your body

Same I've been lifting for 9 months now and I've tried creatine for almost 3 weeks in my 2nd month. I knew nothing about it, just that someone recommended it to me and me being new to all this I started taking it and started balding. That's when I researched about it and all studies kept saying it doesn't CAUSE hairloss, but they all ignored the question if it ACCELERATES hairloss. We all know the genes are the deciding factor, we just want to know if creatine makes hairloss worse or expedites it. That's when I searched on Reddit and saw everyone complaining about that, there was a 4 years old post and all the very recent comments were complaining of similar hairloss @@dylbrwn

There was one study that was supposed to happen about creatine and DHT in 2021, but it was canceled. I wonder why? After that happened i did a blood test of all my hormones including DHT before and after starting creatine. Creatine allows you to work harder and longer and that causes you to produce more test and DHEA. If you took Creatine and didn't work out you wouldn't lose extra hair. Also, like PictureFit said, the hair loss only affects men already susceptible to male pattern baldness.

Also, if you skip the loading phase and just take the regular 3-5gms/per day along with high intensity training, your other supps (which I've heard blocks out any unnecessary test to dht conversion) - omega-3 and biotin, it shouldn't be a problem

I actually made a video where I took creatine for 30 days. I got a comment saying that I looked bigger, but I didn't think I made much progress physique wise. I also increased my other maxes drastically, but this lift was the most shocking.

Recently, when I started taking creatine again, I noticed it made me feel lethargic and tired for the rest of the day. Maybe I'm taking too much for my weight (5g), or maybe the product I'm using is not effective or poor quality, it is a old batch i bought a couple years ago after all. I'll buy a new pack and give it another shot at lower doses but I think I might have to hang it up permanently.

If you stored it in warm temperature it could have lost potency. I just started taking creatine a month ago, and it fires me up everyday and I'm built to the point where I made massive gains. Just by cheap creatine monohydrate as it's only like 15 bucks from GNC and try it once more. I also took 20 g per day during loading phase, and 5g everyday after while doing very intensive daily activities.

Those college rugby players only experienced an increase in their DHT levels by 40%, that too when they were on a loading phase of 25gms/day. According to that, skipping the loading phase and starting just with 5gms shouldn't be a problem if you have decent hair genetics. 3gms shouldn't definitely be a problem if you're actually putting all that creatine to work, taking your omega-3s and biotin which I've heard is a DHT-blocker.

You need to eat between 5 to 10lbs of meat to equal a scoop of creatine so it's unnatural in that regards. That's why I refuse to take it. I took it back in the mid 90s when it first was becoming popular on the market but stopped after my 2nd jar due to the fact that it didn't feel right after finding out that it naturally can't be taken in the same amounts. I didn't get any results from it either but I'm sure it's formulated much better now than back in 96/97.

too early to tell, basically. we don't quite know how to determine who is a non-responder. we don't even know if there's one, two, or ten different reasons for being a non-responder. _if_ you are a non-responder because your body makes enough of its own, and _if_ that creatine goes to the brain and not just your muscles, then yes, you won't get anything from supplementation. but we'd need a ton more research to answer your question for sure.

If you want a safer dose of creatine, then just eat a small burger.

@@Josh-dm5sx whatever, bot. The search results say : "" a small burger would contain approximately 0.9 grams of creatine. Specifically: Beef patties (raw) contain about 0.9g of creatine per 100g of meat. Beefburgers are also listed as containing 0.9g of creatine per 100g. Another source states that beef contains 0.9 grams of creatine per 100 grams. The exact amount may vary slightly depending on the size and preparation of the burger, but around 0.9 grams of creatine for a small beef burger (roughly 100g of meat) is a reasonable estimate based on the available information. It's worth noting that cooking can cause some loss of creatine content, so the final amount in a cooked burger may be slightly lower than in raw beef. Additionally, the bun and any toppings would not contribute significant amounts of creatine."""

@@Mikewee777 you are using AI as a source how fucking braindead is that🤣 not even months before AI was telling us that its safe to leave a dog in a hot car and that the beetles made a song about leaving your dog in a hot car, also its very brave of you to call someone a bot and then use AI to do the least ammount of effort

Im definitely a non responder, weirdly Im non responder to a lot of stuff. Caffeine doesnt seem to do much to me either. but I do take a low dose of creatine (2-3g) a day because its so cheap, so widely recommended, and has almost only positive outcomes on physical and mental health.
