@moneyhafimekКүн бұрын
This is why I train with light weight and high volume because it’s safer to train to or close to failure. Too heavy and failure happens too quick leaving me unfulfilled . Moderately heavy and joints may hurt preventing consistency. Light weight + high reps(20 or more) or high sets (5 or more) + full range and moderate concentric and eccentric is the best way for me. Do your own thing though because I’m 45 and natural only taking 1 protein shake per day and no creatine. When I was younger I could do whatever I wanted.😂

Having a spotter/audience/coach would make a lot of difference to failure

Training to failure is stupid on its face. How do you think humans survived over time if they couldn't get stronger without physically exhausting themselves? That's a recipe for death in nature. Besides, I grew up on a farm. As long as you work hard consistently, you get stronger.

If you’re going to the gym for the first time the most important thing is to not overdo it. No reason to get so sore you can’t work out for a week.

I have discovered that failure by exhaustion is a serious consideration when living at altitude. My 12-15 reps per set would literally drain the energy out of me when lifting with the weights equivalent to my one rep max. Exercising to failure of specific muscles seems to be the context of lifting until failure, but having "no gas in the tank" near the end of the set is completely different. I understand why people train at altitude, if possible, as the body normally attempts to adapt to the lower amount of oxygen per breath over time. The benefits are apparent when moving at a lower altitude, e.g. running up a few flights of stairs in Denver without trying to catch your breath is a welcomed surprise. I have compassion for people who ski in Colorado and need to stop after a couple hundred yards to catch their breath.

I've been doing both for like 2 months: 4 sets of 3 exercises with heavy loads at 6 to 8 reps 4 sets of 2 exercise to failure And my pumps been getting bigger and even gained more mass, so I'd recommend trying both if you're feeling stagnated
@lankymario71892 күн бұрын
so just train to failure all the time, because most ppl misjudge their own 'real failure', so by training to failure will just mean we are in fact training 'close to failure'
@percy.garou10012 күн бұрын
It'll lead to systemic fatigue It's very taxing You'll feel like shit You're muscles will be sore too Train to failure But Take 1 week light Or even 2 week in a month
@lankymario71892 күн бұрын
@@percy.garou1001 what i meant is that if 'people misjudge their real failure', then training to what you perceived as failure just means you are training 'close to failure'. And there been a lot of study that training close to failure is optimal. So if you think you are training to failure, it means you are probably training close to failure (which is optimal)

I'd say train to absolute failure for isolation exercises. You're not gonna be fatigued from going to failure on preacher curls and it can give you a good gauge on what failure feels like. If going to failure on every set of biceps makes you too sore for you next bicep session you can dial it back (maybe only go to failure the last 2 sets). Everyone has a different intensity that works for them. For compound movements leave 1-2 reps in the tank and go to failure on the last set.

Bulking is eat more calories for eating more calories focus protein and healthy fats and then exercise, the body will use the protein to heal your muscles after exercising and use the healthy fats to use to build the healed muscles so the more fat the more muscles thats why really fat people who workout like the bar minium are prettty strong For food that helps with gaining muscle is to eat natural meat for protein eat chicken or steak and for healthy fats eat beef bacon and for both eat eggs. If your poor kinda like me a great way to eat more calories and still have more protein and healthy fats is to drink MILK, their are lots of videos of people doing this.
