Van Helsing..what a great movie!! I love this game,im nearly 50,and really enjoy just going nuts with combos and genrally having a 'Blast'. I dont understand all the hate..this isn't supposed to be like all the big triple A games with endless maps and repetitive side quests. Sure this has its repetition,but with how nice it looks and how easy the controls are...this is that breath of fresh air you talk of! Really good vid of a game that is just plain out fun..and isnt that what games are all about..having Fun!?!? Rock On Mate 🤘😎🤘😎🤘😎

Being a fan Devovler Digital's Shadow Warrior trilogy I was aimed for Evil West as a Christmas 2022 present for myself. And I enjoyed Evil West just like I did the Shadow Warrior trilogy. Evil West is one of 2022's more underrated linear driven games and it's very worthy of a sequel. Nice video review btw.

The jitter for first time attack is a shader thing. Borderlands 3 does this also.

Bro people hated cause it wasn’t a open world game, and I kept seeing GOW comparisons. Like I don’t think this game marketed at ever being a triple A game, but got hate for no reason and I think it was a marvelous game

ikr broski 🤦‍♂ The only comparison between this and GOW is the camera angle and you having more than one weapon to use and thats it 😅 there is nothing to compare lol We do get this hating for no reason more and more and you're pretty much hated on for liking a game others didnt 🤷‍♂ But at least you had fun with the game broski! I get what you mean but what else is there to be expected from a game like this broski 😅 its a linear action shooter, Im not expecting a lot of variety tbh even though there is a lot of that too with the amount of weapons and skills to use! Repetitive or not, I had FUN and thats the most important bit! One could say all action games are repetitive tbf 🤣🤷‍♂

A blast? Did you play the game or have someone play it for you and just bang in some commentary? It's boting, generic, and baisc. There's nothing interesting about the game and nothing new. If it held your handanymoree, the game would play itselff. The puzzles are LITERALLY explained to you. The "platforming" is a button press. The single hardest thing about the game is the initial tutorial where you have no weapons & are getting to grips with the game. After you get the flamer, youve beaten the game. Literally every single boss is a joke when you have the flamethrower. Just tap fire it, set the boss or "tougher" enemies alight and you're done.

I mention most of these things in the video broski so you clearly didn't even watch it 🤣 like at least watch the video before you go on a rant ☠️ I even end the video by saying it's brainless and a simple game to play but not every game needs to be convoluted with all these different mechanics, as long as you have fun 🤷🏻‍♂️ it's a subjective opinion, you're very free to not like it but I at least had fun with it
