Question? I noticed that the second large box you placed next to TC could be placed slightly further back I wonder if you put the TC on the opposite side you could place the second large box slightly further back wich might give just enough room for the research table and that could possibly stop that furnace from sticking out? Just a theory

If you struggle farming for a starter base you can farm wood next to outpost or bandit and run in if someone comes. You can also buy stone with scrap and wood with stone from the outpost. It's really safe to build around these npc towns and they also have safe recyclers and various other benefits, such as the jackhammer and constant wood supply from the outpost and easy scrap from cards and hqm and guns from bandit camp.

@Neurolicious Defo man I think the bow before base argument makes much more sense than the gun before base one which many people seem to think is the best way to start. If you come across a gun or make a play fair enough never turn that down but having somewhere safe to depo and learn that first gun, say a rev could change how the rest of the wipe goes for ya

I would like to make this base initially, but wanted to expand it later, would you have a video showing how to expand this base?
@MemeKing445 жыл бұрын
i have been thinking about this alot lately as well. imo the best would be to do so gradually, you could either build all the way around, and add storage as you go.. or try to build up to second floor as well. my initial idea, is to build off the honey comb, and add a metal shop front, for visibility, then build around, for storage, create a new airlock, and basically remove the old, and or replace with garages. thats why i think it is best to upgrade from wood to stone, slowly, if doing that only upgrade tc room to stone, leave the rest as wood, so as to make future expansion easier, etc.

How do you reliably find enough Cloth for several sleeping bags? This video was really helpful and I use this base design often but, I need to know how you managed to get your research table to go through the door?

This was still possible when I recorded the video in February 2019. The April 2019 update changed the way that doors work: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJm7pmqfqr15hKs

Putting a 1x1 down first with a double door is the best idea ever!! I’m gonna use this start base today 👍🏻

This helped me sleep at night. Thank you so much! Excellent guide! Watching the Starter Bases II right now!

Here's a tip for trio's using this starter base. A sleeping bag could be put in the airlock and if aligned correctly, you can replace the airlock doors although this might take some time to do. ( The bag in the airlock should be used by people who don't usually get on and play )

Good suggestions! When I played trio, and we started with a 2x1, we tended to build the Mini Fort. This way, you get a lot of extra space for bags, etc

@@EvilWurst Oh I love the mini fort 2. I literally built it on SEA Main this wipe! I didn't get high tier gear but I don't mind. I'm still using the base as it's the smallest amongst all of the other large bases. I'm extremely unconfident about fighting though so maybe that's why I don't even have the db blueprint yet :(
