When gen2 came out with gold snd silver, I had to be patient and wait since my parents couldn't afford something like that for christmas. I was jealously looking over from my pokemon red to my friends, exploring a world with color and cool new pokemans. On my birthday a few months later i instead got the newer crystal version. Now my pokemon where MOVING and i got to catch Suicune ! Made me feel really special

I like the detail in ORAS/USUM where the music is the original GBC rendition, because in those games you’re supposedly using wormholes to travel to the universes that the original games take place.

Really though, it's pretty much GAME FREAK just not wanting to spend the time to fund remixes of the old Legendary themes since they're not important. It would've been much appreciated if they did. But alas, beggars can't be choosers. And besides, the post-Gen 5 themes are fine to use since they aren't soundfont-based. SV seems to have updated some Legendary themes to their most recent versions, like the Legendary Birds using the LGPE Legendary theme instead of reusing RBY's Wild Pokémon theme.

FUN FACT: If you capture Entei, Raikou or both before encountering Suicune in Bell Tower, you will get different 'cutscene': 1) If you capture Entei only, you will meet Suicune and Raikou only in Bell Tower, 2) If you capture Raikou only, you will meet Suicune and Entei only in Bell Tower and 3) If you capture both Entei and Raikou, you will meet Suicune only in Bell Tower.

@@joshuarichard6827 don't have a video but i just checked the pokecrystal dissassembly and it is true. the game checks for raikou and entei when you enter tin tower and makes their sprites dissapear depending on which ones you caught.

At 4:45 when they throw an ultra ball and while the Pokemon is still in it, only the bass plays in suicune's battle theme music, and as soon as its out of the ball the other notes of the music resume wherever the bass is playing, Love that detail.

Suicune was interesting for me. I saw it first in Heart Gold, and I had no idea why I could find the others roaming the region but not Suicune. Then I saw it in the Celebi movie, and it was pretty cool. I like Suicune and Entei about the same. It’s tied with Raikou for my favorite Shiny of the 3 Beasts though.

One thing I didn’t like was when you run in to the legendary dogs they’re only lvl 40 I feel as though they should be pretty close to lvl 100. It’d be much tougher to fight and or catch them.

Suicide has always been my favorite Pokémon, as a little kid I would love getting Suicune because that day was my birthday. When I caught it I named it October. Ever since I’ve been transferring October to all my pokemon games. I also had a sister, she loved Suicune too. I caught one for her and now she has a shiny Suicune named Crystal.

Here is a old tip for you folks out there, in Silver and Gold (virtual console) wait till you get the master ball, dupe the master ball, get a level 40 Pokemon don't care what. Go to where the 3 legend dogs are in their hiding spot. Bam catch each one with the duped master ball. Now your done your set no mess, and no fuss

Someone help me out here. I've completed the Sevii Islands in Pokemon LeafGreen and I know Raikou is now roaming Kanto. Once I find it once, I can use my Master Ball on it. But it's finding it once that's the problem. Is there ANY way to make finding it easier? Like, a specific location it'll appear in or something?

Just look at one route it is at the moment. Later go to the entrance of the other route. Go to that next to the first one and return to the one where Raikou was. Check map. If it isnt there, repeat. When you are in the route with him, go with a pokemon in the first slot that is higher level than the pokemon in the area, but lower than Raikou's one. Go to the grass and you will find it for sure. That's my strategy I did some years ago, if you have problems just answer back. I will try to help you

That's the problem. I have no way of knowing where it is. I haven't encountered it yet, so the PokeDex doesn't help me, the map doesn't tell me where it is, and as far as I know there's no guaranteed location to find it the first time.

It did in Gold and Silver! In the original version, all three will flee on sight if you prevent them by using Mean Look! But of course, they have the perfect counter when they use Roar! The Generation II skillset Raikou had consisted of Leer, Thundershock, Roar, and Quick Attack. Entei’s was Leer, Ember, Roar, and Fire Spin, and Suicune’s was Gust, Leer, Roar, and Gust. In Pokémon Crystal, it changed to being Rain Dance, Leer, Bubblebeam and Gust!
