It's painful when you're an atheist and you don't want to say it-it's more painful when your education is on the line.Nigeria needs no religion!!

Ahmed, congratulations, you found the key and that is... TO QUESTION ! yes sir, if we want to be as much as possible to what is true and accurate we must question, we will not get all the time an answer or a one which satisfy us, but there is not better way than that, because people keep questioning and seeking for what is true is that we have been able to grow in all aspect of life, particularly in science. religions don't like questions is because they don't have answer and because that shows its contradictions. Have you ever heard a religious ceremony that ends in....any question? and those evangelists, when they are asked they invent answers that might sound logic but are not true and since the audience want to agree with the preacher they will applaud whatever the preacher says. Good decision Ahmed.

Wow. I watch this and relate on so many levels. However I disagree. This is why: I'm Nigerian, but grew up from the age of 14 in England. My parents are mixture of religion, dad being Muslim and mum being Christian. Let's just say it was an interesting childhood. As an adult I questioned life and faith and purpose, looking at how terrible the world is and suffering in the world and in my own life. I don't touch on suffering here lightly, I've been hungry, homeless, abused, depressed, suicidal, poor. Now I'm great, I'm not perfect but great. Anyway I questioned it all and finally 2 and half years ago God opened my eyes. I tried out Islam, Jehovah witness and Christianity, not in that order. In fact I got baptised as Christian at 20 but as life got hard and I was discouraged by people I tried Islam. But went back to Christianity and still am still will be. Why you ask; a lot of asking questions, praying researching happened sure but all in all it was God, the Christian God Jesus who showed that there's isn't a way to true life except through him. All say there's a way, sure help people but there's always people to help, there's always something happening good or bad, or sure you have fun but then you have no control over death or life. You didn't create yourself and you can't create something out of nothing yourself so I'll be careful to approach questioning God with a notion of 'I don't want to be a friend to one who sinks a nation'. Well I think I'd like to be on his good side. And I'd fear him. I mean I look up at the stars and I realise hey there's more to life than I can comprehend and feel incredulous at the fact that a God who created all is mindful of me? So my fellow Naija bro, I feel your pain. I know trust me I know. But pray to him, seek him, read and ask, research, be humble, there's always something to learn. There's God who loves and who cares and who knows and who's made a life to those who seek him and love him. Who go to him with humility saying I don't understand, I doubt, I don't believe help my unbelief. And check, did what is in the bible really happen? Did he resurrect? But pray to him. I'm not saying don't be human, weep when you see suffering, do something, have fun and enjoy the good things in life God has given us. Do things at the proper time. But remember it is way bigger than we think. And God knows all and he is just!. Jesus wept, he is compassionate. Anyway I pray for everyone on this channel, I pray for faith and I pray God shows you truth. Because I can go on and try to convince you because I want to you know this joy I know and to be in the right side in the end. But I'll pray God shows you because he showed me. Grace and peace and lots of love to you all.

This channel is wonderful. I'm studying the link between the modern 'left wing' (especially here in the UK) and the trend of denying the suffering of Muslims and Ex Muslims under Islamic rule. My theory is that these peoples suffering cannot be allowed to be seen or to exist in the eyes of these self proclaimed 'moral arbiters/ enforcers of social justice' because that would confuse their narrative of "The West made Islam terrible"... This then gives them less ammunition to turn into virtue signalling exercises where they are able to scream 'Look how liberal/ left wing we are!'.

with all respect , he wasn't really muslim , he was born into muslim father and christan mother ,then he was suppose to be raised as muslim but was raised by his mother who was christan , so he didn't even have chance to know what islam is or became muslim ... so I only accept him as ex christan not ex muslim cuz he wasn't even muslim . and I am atheist by the way exmuslim .. I am don't like to be biased so I said how I feel he not ex muslim.

@sakurakou20098 жыл бұрын
"So where are you going?" (chapter 81 verse 26) many reasons , but main one is the islam veiw on women and how she veiwed as lesser then the man and also islam have many contridiction with logic

Whoknowsuknow Incorrect. The most correct translation is: "But the men have a degree over them [in responsibility and authority]" You've also taken the verse out of context.

in order for you to truly understand cold u must understand hot in order for u to be thankful for ur blessing u must go through some test and trial from GOD as this world was not created for us to bode forever.
@karlheifisch8 жыл бұрын
+Nazir Rashid Or maybe there is no god and no test and when you die you are truly dead?
@TurboDally8 жыл бұрын
+Nazir Rashid Analogies don't prove anything, they're only there to explain. So you haven't proven anything, you've explained something we've heard too often- we're simply not convinced there's a deity. We're not convinced that this life is a "test". Nor do we take for granted the great period we live in where life is so good, healthcare, education and food production are actually beginning to have "disadvantages" because of how much more we have than those before us.
@naz2you8 жыл бұрын
Doesnt matter how good times r 1 fact remains we all will taste death and u and me both will certainly find out about diety but i will be in win win situation as it there is God win for me and if there isnt still win but i am certain we all will meet our creator.....if ur 100 perecent satisfied then thats the choice u made.
@leea5328 жыл бұрын
+Nazir Rashid Wow. So the reason you commit or should I say submit to a religion is simply because of an unsubstantiated threat that becuase it purports itself to be eternal makes you think 'ah better not risk it.' Don't expect others to have a similar thought process.
@capone708 жыл бұрын
Ahmed, if you are reading this, I'm Christian who grew up in Africa around Muslims as well (east side here though : ). You sound like you really didn't get "formal" teaching in either religion...for good or for bad. The good thing is though you joke about how "religious" your grand-mum and father get, I can tell they never beat you for not making wudu correctly or for petting a dog etc. My point is your "Muslim" story is a bit unique in that you weren't "fleeing" from anything...but it did give you the background and LIBERTY (not a lot of people have that) to make your own decisions which eventually led you to question and disbelieve in God. For what it's worth, from my experience you absolutely CAN be moral and altruistic without believing in God...I've lived and worked around such people all my life. The difference is your view of morality will most likely be different..and arguably more subjective based on your own comfort level in any given situation. Is that good or bad? It doesn't matter, since it's subjective. Anyway, I wish you all the best.
