I absolutely believe that the (already written and completed) novel, The Mandalorian: An Original Novel was meant to be a bridge and supplement to The Mandoverse, leading the way to The Book Of Boba Fett, Rangers Of The New Republic, and Season 3 of The Mandalorian, all of which Carasynthia Dune would've been a significant part of. When the book was RATHER QUIETLY cancelled (after it had been available for pre-order for months), that definitely declared (at least, to me) that the original story could not have been re-edited to remove the narrative aspects of Rebel Shock Trooper/Marshal/New Republic Ranger/Special Forces Agent Cara Dune without destroying much of the overall tale. Which proves EVEN MORE how much Gina Carano's new contract was imminent, in Fall 2020, and all-encompassing. I hope all of this is also mentioned in the lawsuit. I'm still angry and disappointed that that novel has just been sitting on a shelf or in a vault over at Lucasfilm Ltd.

If you don't bring Gina back, you have to go through a costly exposition of your dirty laundry leading to millions of dollars in damages and loss of reputation. So far the Moff Gideon's Imperial Light Cruiser Hallway playset is minus Gina Carano as Cara Dune on the packaging, but all the other 3 female characters from that 2nd season finale are shown on the box along with a random Mandalorian privateer which is one figure exclusive to the playset. Most fans, myself included, on youtube seem to be adding the out of print Cara Dune figure to that diorama playset. I'm hoping they redo the box artwork and include the figure in the artwork.
