I know the club is trying different things and it’s great that an effort is being made to enhance the matchday at the temp stand end. However, I would say it’s definitely a fan zone not hospitality. Boltons fanzone has just as much and more in it, they queue to get in there from 1:30 on a Saturday. There’s no charge to go in and they also open it to screen certain live away games (there is a charge for that). I think they could’ve made it bigger incorporating the whole of the temp stand. In the winter fans will be freezing in there, soaking wet and perhaps being able to get a warm drink under cover pre game and at HT might be a welcome touch. I think with extra outlets and fewer queues the extra revenue can be made on sales alone. So perhaps make it bigger, facilitate the whole stand and sell lots of food and drinks. Nobody going into that stand is looking for exclusivity and hospitality usually comes alongside premium seating. Ask most people why they paid the extra tenner and they’ll tell you that they were the only seats available. The seats are actually nice in that stand and a good view but getting out at full time is a bit of a ball ache. Mostly though, it’s uncovered and not premium seating as hospitality would be… it’s a fan zone and a tenner is steep imo. Not complaining, it’s peoples choice whether they feel it’s worth it or not, just offering an opinion.

Interesting humphrey said we looking to bring in first team starters , apart from dobson so far its basically the same team and same 11 as last season up to now, so be interesting to see who else earns a regular spot in there from the new signings we have bought.
