So good to see your video! I just had my very first microneedling session on Jan. 13th, the process actually being done by my very own family doctor who now specializes on skincare. I have been putting it aside for years because of the cost and my fear of needles but wow, am I glad I finally went! Even from the first session alone, I already experienced a huge change in the smoothness of my skin! I can't wait for my next session which will be in mid-February. Here in Vancouver, one session costs Cdn $400 and that will be 4 - 6 sessions, 1 per month, so we're looking at 4 to 6 months. I have melasma and this is why microneedling is going to be a huge improvement for my skin. I documented my first journey as well and am looking forward to sharing the rest of my sessions down the road. I love your channel.

One can get stem cells legally from Korea which is the skincare age ing resource here. I’ve done a deep dive into a lot of products. Stem cells new ones from umbilical cord is best it needs to be cryofreezed for transport. However here is aa problem because these stem cells are mostly incubated in transport to multiple. When a new stem cell is pit in incubation regenerate producing a daughter ( that’s what it’s called) that daughter is now not new and in it actually causes inflammation and god knows what else .This is how most people are getting from South America and other countries Mexico Korea others. So make sure you know what you’re actually getting. Please check out Dr Joy, She is brilliant and knows so much and has a stem cell clinic. Thankyou for all of your information.

Hi Claire, this is very exciting and your skin looks absolutely wonderful. When I first found you last year, one of the first videos I watched, was you discussing Calecim. So reading more about it, I decided to invest in a pot and trial it. Well, I’m on my second pot now and 4 months later, there is absolutely no doubt that my face looks plumper, the skin is more hydrated and definitely younger and healthier looking. It’s been a very subtle change over the course of these months, but it has worked for me. Before Christmas I bought some of the Calecim serum and a Dr Pen thinking I might try Microneedling with the serum. I have since tried microneedling a small patch on my chin at 0.5mm depth but was absolutely terrified of it and hated the sensation, so haven’t got round to attempting the full thing as yet.

Thank you Clare, but £170 a month for this treatment is outrageous. Microneedling at home with a Dr Pen (or similar) and your own serum or Hyaluronic acid gives amazing, if not better results. Microneedling in general is just amazing as it produces more collagen and elastin to our skin, shrinks pores and reduces scars, so it's always a win win situation, you just have to make sure your serum is not going to irritate your skin. There are also plenty of growth factors on sale for less money or in great sales .

It’s so hard to compare them. Adipeau seems to be helpful for those who have lost facial fat, and particularly those who lost it suddenly due to a heat or energy-based treatment. That’s certainly the feedback I’ve had from viewers. I found it effective in my cheeks but not my forehead, temples or upper eyelids. Calecim is more of an overall rejuvenation product that will improve skin health over time but, from my experience, just at a superficial level. I don’t think it replaces lost volume. That turned into an essay! Hope it makes sense 😁

I have a serious question Have you ever considered speaking with an orthoganist about how they approach anti aging ? Since a lot of the time as we age we loose bone density and although people believe adults can’t benefit from mse expansion on the other hand doctors acknowledge that there is such thing as facial osteoporosis. Could it be that it is the bone under your skin that is affecting your skin? Our faces lengthen and widen as we age our ligaments aren’t the same neither is the cartilage . Are there any orthodontic devises that adults could benefit from in terms of anti aging? I mean the oralift is similar to that as well.

I’m sure many people appreciate the information you are privileged to deliver. I am one of them -usually - and am a subscriber. However, that you use your journalism background as a convenient excuse to be a content creator comes off to me as insincere. There’s something that doesn’t feel right about getting all these treatments for free to use as advertisements for products or services that are either unneeded, might not work, or even dangerous. I find your over concern with your appearance to be sad. Is every little sag, bag or wrinkle some kind of problem with your or others ‘ character? No - I’d say the opposite is true. I believe that selling a “exterior beauty is everything” attitude as an ideal to the public is sending the wrong message. And by the way, I I’m not against cosmetic procedures, and desiring to look our best as I have had cosmetic procedures also and I am very much into skincare but I’m not to the point of feeling like I have to do something every month or two or even every year or 10! It is my opinion that as a content creator you are misguided in encouraging people towards value systems which pursue a desperate obsessive narcissism of me, me, me! It’s now running rampant out there, which doesn’t say much for those who chase beauty to an extreme. The world isn’t going to end without cosmetic procedures. I’d say that what’s really important Is learning to treat each other with love, kindness and respect all while serving others. That’s where real beauty and self-esteem shine. This post is my opinion and reflects what I see as issues and concerns. Others might see something else.
@thehonestchannel Жыл бұрын
I think some KZbinrs resonate with us and others don't and I'm obviously not the one for you. What's important to me as a journalist is that I state whether I paid for the treatment (as I often do) or was offered the treatment for the purposes of review so there is full disclosure. How often do you see that? Not very often.

I'm guessing you haven't watched Clare very much. Of the many beauty AND health influencers, she seems to me the most down to earth and even admits that some of her 'flaws' of her own perception. I agree that in the age of heavy filters and social media, many women (and men) are going in the opposite direction. But as you admitted, caring for our appearance and even doing cosmetic treatments is A -ok if we can keep it in perspective. Cheers to you both.

I’d say it’s up there for me to, to do my best to treat others the way I would like to be treated, although challenging on occasion. But you mention what is really important is learning to treat others with love kindness and respect. You haven’t done that here and actually contradicted yourself. In fact you have been quite unkind in your words. There is an old saying “if you can’t be kind be quiet.” I find skipping on and watching something else, if I don’t agree with what I am watching or hearing, to be the best solution. We are not always going to resonate or agree with all we see and hear, but being unkind is not the solution.
