I am Irish and have been very lucky to have traveled all over the world including all of Europe, China, Russia, South Africa, United States, the Middle East, Malaysia and many other counties. I have never been to a place like Cuba. The country is fantastic and the people are the most incredible and friendliest people I have ever met. They say us Irish are friendly, but to me the Cuban people take top spot. Long live Cuba. My heart is still there.

Cuba is a unique experience everyone need to experience. We were blessed to be able to stay in a local casa in havana overlooking the el malecon. We communicate and navigate among the Cuban streets for our daily needs. Truly an amazing experience in a beautiful city.

@npgSymboL went there almost a year ago for 18 days. Rented a car, stayed with locals, travelled the majority of the island. I loved it and it felt super safe. There are scams around (like in every other country), but that was the only crime I really saw. Locals were mostly great and police were more helpful than expected. From the UK btw. Girlfriend is from Spain which helped a lot with language barrier. I'm definitely going back there and would recommend a visit to anyone.
