This was another great video. Love that you had another raffle. Congratulations to the person who won. That’s a nice prize. I love your prizes. Great idea! Sad to hear a man died and so sorry Mary Wilson can’t be found and her child was left in her with it locked. I hope they will find her. Hopefully alive. But it almost never heads up that way. But we can all hope and be positive. I loved watching you build a fire and have fun. It was nice to see. Can’t wait until next week. Hope you have great Labor Day and week!

Sad that it’s raining while making the trip to Denali. But glad you are making this trip with your meetup. It’s fun telling campfire stories by the campfire. We used to do it a lot when we went camping. Can’t wait until I hear more about the the missing person from Alaska. I love mysteries. I read them a lot. Going to go back and watch the video.

You just give us the chills! We were camping in DNP at Savage River the 11th & 12th, (Mary Wilson's missing date.)And headed through Healy on our way to an RV rally with RVing to Alaska Gary and Stacey. We were watching for you guys and maybe seen your caravan but didn't know you were doing a meet up. We were in Alaska for 9 weeks with our Grand Design Reflection 303rls fifthwheel. It is so much fun watching your videos now that we know a lot more about your state! We love it!!

Hi guys, Beautiful video as usual. Wow no moose that's very unusual, hell I can remember not being able to go out my front door because a bull moose was in my driveway. I think the building of the camp fire was the highlight...it's good to hear everyone laughing... Everyone looks cold, was it that cold where you were? Shame about Mary... Stay safe and have fun James

Stopping at the local tourist towns help the local economy. I bought a hooded rain coat for 19.99 with a coupon in Juneau. It was only good while there and useless in So. California. Twenty years later I still have it hanging in my garage refusing to donate it.

It's easy to see how people like McCandless could be seduced by the landscapes and vast expanses of the magnificent Alaskan wilderness, and why others would follow in his footsteps in their own attempt to find those pieces of their personal puzzle that remain elusive and beyond their grasp within the confines of society. There have been times in my life when my own journey has taken me afield into the harsh reality of a nature that remains unmerciful to those lacking the preparations required to stave off the difficulties and obstacles one inevitably finds laid in their path. I suspect that is the case for most of us if we choose to truly examine our lives. Have we not all faced our McCandless moment? I find it somewhat comical hearing Jim announce that Denali is to the left, only to see nothing but clouds. That was also the case for Mount Rainier in the Puget Sound. So many people would visit the park only to see nothing but clouds. This particular adventure for you must have been challenging for you knowing what the view should look like had the view not been obstructed. It's incredible that you were able to bring all of those Revel people together and have such a memorable trip showing off your dynamic and breathtaking State. It has been said that community is everything and that isolation can adversely impact those who need those connections even when they think they don't. It should come as no surprise that McCandless penned the words, "Happiness is only real when shared" just before losing his battle with the wild. The comments about shopping were poignant given the self-imposed limitations Revelers find themselves living within. Spatial constraints of one's living space. I would imagine this to be a significant challenge for some as they tend to be collectors in one form or another. For me, I am challenged by my persistent desire to buy more coats/jackets. I have no idea why that's the case, but it's something I'm aware of and when entering a store I have to force myself to NOT buy another jacket! I can see how some would buy stickers because it seems to be a thing with your community to put stickers on your vehicles. I'm not sure why it's a thing, but it definitely appears to be a thing. The handpainted hat you bought was cool, admittedly. Your diesel prices are a dollar more there than they are here in Missouri. I'm of the opinion that it still shouldn't be more than $3 a gallon. I'm glad you were able to find a "cheaper" price on your trip though. The 49th State Brewing Company seems to be a great place to stop and eat. What I saw in the video clips looked amazing. I'd certainly take a Hefeweissen if they had it. The shot of the song "Guaranteed" from the Into The Wild soundtrack was fitting given the shots of the bus that looked like the one McCandless occupied at the end of his life. The Missing Person case that you stumbled upon does point out the fact that people go missing all the time and no one knows why. Have you ever seen any of the "Missing 411" films by David Paulides? If not, you ought to scope them out. They'll make you think and question what's going on. I loved the drone shots there at the end of the video. Fantastic job you two!

We are all facing our own "find me moments" for sure. We definitely enjoy our time away from society and testing ourselves in the face of adversity. We love the peacefullness of seclusion. We tried and tried to give them the views of Denali but the weather just did not work in our favor for views. The benefit of that though was the lack of mosquitos which was really really nice. Little trinkets are always of value in such a small space... we do have way too many hats though 😂. The bus at 49th state is the one they used in the movie. the real one is up in Fairbanks now at a museum. We will have to check out those films. Sounds interesting for sure! We love a good mystery. Have a wonderful week Brian!

I was working on a house in Anderson not four down the road from there when she went missing and they found the boy in the car . And I’ve been all they way back to the bus back before they took it out with my off road truck a long time ago and had to drive across the river with a smaller Jeep down river from me because it helped the water go around the Jeep with me being up river

The child was uninsured and safe thank goodness. All the circumstances just seemed odd for her disappearance. Something got her very turned around since the trail is pretty obvious on which way she came in to get where she was. Why wander in the opposite direction of safety? We may never know.
