It could be possible that Doug died and Dale went insane trying to fulfill his father’s last wishes. That’s really dark, though. Whether or not Doug is alive or dead, he’d probably be really mad at Dale seeing the way he treats Dev.

I remember that Cosmo pilot version was kinda sassy (not mean) but also smart (correct me if wrong) and if this is how they made him or at least similiar then I am surely watching this. 0:58 If i had to answer this question, i would say part Poof and Sparky, because Poof made the cartoon get softer, but didn't ruin that since many good things were created after his creation, like the Wishology. But Sparky probably ruined the show, the jokes were no longer funny, but random, Sparky didn't add anything and just was an annoying character, and had a lot of retcons! Crocker's story changed, the "dog multiverse", many rule breakings and the lost of creativity on episodes. Chloe was the last straw, like, how didn't had ANY other fairy for Chloe? There are many wich just exist on the seasons, and if all of them busy, every children in Earth would have one fairy for themselves. Chloe's backstory was very stupid and senseless, just like Crocker turning into a mutant when she left. So, probably would have the start when Poof were created, but Sparky was who REALLY ruined the show. That's my opinion about the moment were Fairy Oddparents got ruined

Convenient, as I’m planning to start continuing this show. Saw the first episode a bit ago & loved it. I feel like we need to try differentiating reboots & sequels some more. Although to be fair I classify New Wish more as a reboot (via a new main lead) that’s also a sequel (via it taking place years after the original). There are shows & movies that can be both if you ask me. There’s nothing wrong with hating on a popular thing…but what in the world was wrong with that video by [REDACTED IN A DESPERATE ATTEMPT TO NOT PROMOTE HIM]? Dude sounded like he wanted to jump on the reboot hate bandwagon (a bit late though) & chose the wrong target.

If I had a nickel for every butthole rich kid with 1 bad parent that goes through an arc... Well, I'd actually have 3 nickels between Dev Dimadome, Diamond Tiara, and Chloe Bourgeois. Of the 3 though, I feel like Dev's is the most fleshed out and realized of the 3. DT's entire redemption was done in 1 single episode, and a bit overshadowed by the CMC getting their cutie marks. Meanwhile, Chloe ended up regressing like Dev, but never ended up seeing the light. DT and Chloe walked, so Dev could RUN!

I mean, I was in early single digits when _The Transformers_ began appearing in toy stores and _just barely_ out of them when we received _Transformers: Generation 2_ *and yet* I similarly was young when _Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles_ became my obsession *but* my preferred iteration is probably the 2003 or 2012 series. Getting back to Transformers, until recently I looked forward to the newest iteration... well, "recent" meaning within the last 10 or so years of a 40-year-old IP.

I personally believe it went downhill once Sparky was added to the cast they didn’t need to add any more characters poof was fine it’s just that everybody else felt forced at least with poof it did kind of have some affect on the more in a canon of a show because for the majority of it we never knew how fairies were born or created so I feel like he was a good addition to the show they just came at a bad time Sparky and Chloe were not good additions at all

@@Thein-between-r5r there’s an entire chapter in Da Rulez dedicated to Timmy’s wishes that went awry. I always felt that Cosmo and Wanda were the real heroes the whole time. Hazel isn’t like Timmy at all. She usually thinks of others before herself and since her parents actually love her, I don’t think I’ve seen get in trouble with them once. She doesn’t pine after someone who doesn’t like him (Trixie) and hopefully won’t end up ditching Jasmine and Winn for her fairies like Timmy did to Chester and AJ.

You all miss owl house , now what would you do if it came back? If it came back and was bad? If it came back and was over saturated? If it came back and Amity was black and also strait and a boy ? I Do follow some original shows. Kipo, Hilda, Glitch techs. But I tend to look at ones that get buz on the internet or are in the same genre as my shows Its like food you eat pizza, you love pizza so if some one offers you a Stromboli or an eggplant you take the Stromboli familiar is safe.

The thing about reboots/revivals is they CAN be entertaining to watch in the end. Provided, of course that people actually put the following elements into it; creativity, thought, care, a respect towards what came before and above all, HEART! Titans Go is a lousy series because it not only looks terrible, it spits in the faces of everyone who watched the original (and to a different extent, Young Justice.) Thundercats ROAR! was nothing more than a cheap cashgrab pandering towards the lowest level of TV viewers. The Transformers and TMNT reboots Bay gave Hollywood are guilty of the same crimes the first two examples committed...but they amped they %$#! Factor up to 12. Really Loud House messes up the established continuity of the currently running animated version. See the pattern? Meanwhile you got the new Apes franchise, the She-Ra reboot, Voltron: Legendary Defender, the Animaniacs reboot and of course, A New Wish; reboots that take elements of their original shows and update them in PROPER ways
