This was always one of my favorite horror films. The 2nd one was ok, I recommend checking that one out too, they give you some lore on the Creeper. Wouldn't bother with the 3rd or the remake, real let downs. I really had high hopes for this franchise, such a unique primise. He's like if a vampire somehow became a zombie and started eating you instead of drinking you.

@@ok2smokeganja It raised so many more questions than it answered. They never show the audience any of the origin visions that the characters see through his old severed hand. And his truck magic now or is it alive too, it sets off traps like it can actually see when someone is close to it.

You should watch the movie Joy Ride with Paul Walker and Steve Zahn from 2001. Great movie.

I was 9 in 01 when this movie came out and for whatever reason i became a huge fan that i continue to be today at 32. Always felt this movie was underrated

The thing that I love about this movie is that focus on siblings because usually every horror movies they always focus husband and wife or boyfriend and girlfriend, by the way the ending of the creeper that was justin long (who play darry) wearing creeper costume and there's alternate ending of him with a full makeup as the creeper because the original creeper is played by Jonathan Breck

We all know Gezell meant well and really tried to help them and not make her vision come true. But she led Darry to his demise in my opinion. She took them to a dead end to where they had to run up stairs and that’s where he finds them. If I was Trish I would’ve cursed her out 😂 here you are telling us all of this and now that we’re asking questions “you don’t understand” and “I’m just a crazy old woman”

One thing i just realized after watching this movie many times. The intro parts where it's just the brothers with their car.. it seems like they filmed some scenes in the sunset and some scenes during the bright daylight even tho supposedly it takes place in the same time. If you pay attention closely, you can see the daylight difference in some scenes.

If you want to know of, what happened according to this movie, you have to trace it back to the real case behind the movie it is about an old couple that was driving down the stretch of country highway and they were playing name that license plate in my gourd out of it That is what they did until they Came across an old abandoned elementary school and a gas tank and they witnessed someone throwing a body down inside it and they went back to investigated after the guy left that place and they went back there and actually went back and looked down that gas tank trying to find the body And see what was down there same thing with this movie, but the name of the case was jeepers creepers. That is the case of what happened. The guy went back there and got the buy out of that gas tank and never was seen ever again with the body he went back for the body And the body was never found after that so as for this movie creepers, I will tell you what that license plate actually said BEATINGU do you even know what that even means it means this Be eating you 23 years and 23 days, this creeper reptile theme, or it wakes up every 23 years of spring when comes and eats the teenagers eyes lungs various parts of the body insides to whatever you do remember that tongue that is lungs for him to breathe eyes for him to see And It was eating the inmates foot because they severed his foot do remember when they ran him over several times and it cut off the foot so he had to get another foot So I thought you should know this I seen the movie in the theater and it was in the air at one couple years before I even moved out my original home to where I am now I was with a care house by it was moved out of there around 7:17 overtime a couple sequels to jeepers creepers. You might want to check them out, so it will give you some insight to what does it is what you say what this thing is is probably a reptilian bat or solving nobody even knows what the state is or work it came from or God knows where there is scenes of this movie and I don’t know why you had cut off the part where it showed him doing the screaming and all that is the best part you get to see the factory a little bit before the big reveal before dairy was without his eyes and without his body, so technically, Terry Jenner was more scared of the creeper so I thought I’d do all this because it would help you out to understand this movie further there’s more sequels to this movie has Juper creepers so, Derek Jenner was actually justified of making his own sister to go back and see if that present could use help. Trisha Jenner was being completely selfish only thinking about herself, and never really cared about anything. All she wanted to prove that her brother dairy is out to see something nasty and have an a little adventure. That is not what he wanted to do. He wanted to go back and see if that person couldn’t use their help and he was justified for it and he had to see what was down there that creeper in that prehistoric brown van that he had was not even there, so this movie is actually based off case if you wanna know about that type in this Unsolved mysteries, jeepers clippers case If you want to real store behind this movie, then I suggest that you look that up Because it is a real case, and the song was selected Vidra Salva and he heard on the song and he also heard about the case behind it. He took that rock case into a fictional movie starting off with that opening scene with Tricia and dairy drivi stretch of road in the country of the story a little bit where they would come across abandoned church with a basement and a pipe opening. No weed to the solar or basement and beneath that is it House of Pain that is what he named it. Oh yeah also Kenny, what is that story too Kenny and Darla was born her girlfriend of 1978 and that was a class in that they had on and they were caught by this creeper and he’s been doing this by years where he snoozed them from their fear and they never found the bodies or her head But they only found the car and not the buys or her or her head so he sold it back on and saw them together because he knew that they were boyfriend and girlfriend. This creeper is a lot like a boogie man kind of but with Ken and Darla they were innocent College kids that was going home by that same stretch of country road that they were on and was the idea of Jenna Davis says this That I always believe that this will be the highway I would die on And it turns out that she was way too strong and not even afraid of this creeper. He always smells the fear of the ones that they are afraid of him. This creeper boogie man because what the bogeyman is and does is man that every child children teenager college kids to whatever they are there is movies about the bogeyman, so this creeper is like a bat out of hell kind of like from that one album from meatloaf I am talking about the guy who did the song bat out of Hell and the album no I’m not talking about meatloaf the food this creeper goes after kids who is more afraid of him and does not go after those was not afraid of it going to say about this And yes, I did told you that was his plate was really saying BEATINGU and that one is supposed to say not beating you actually is known as Be eating you Or also known as Ben Barra maybe that’s the name of the creeper that’s just Dustin interceptio The name bra means be eating you that is what that plate was saying. I said enough for now and I hope that you understand that go to go the sixth the sequels they are pretty good they’re not home either, but you might want to go with the third Jupiters before you go into that sick two grippers because there is a timeline but there’s a fourth one out now and Tom doing a movie known as jeepers creepers. They are working on that here now it goes to the theaters. I am going to see it as. This comment is done now and I hope that you get some more understanding of what this movie is so I hope that you get an idea and I hope that you get a chance to do it first time movie watch out of them but if you wanna do an horror movie, I suggest that one I give you so other than that I hope that this comment should give you some new insight of what this movie was and portrayed According to the story behind it, I said type in that title up there, and it will give you a lot more understanding of what this movie was telling you that this movie is actually based on real events and a true case from unsolved mysteries, Drippers case because you have to look into that Order for you to understand the story behind the movie

Not bad for a modern horror movie. Definitely better than Saw. There's a lot more that could have been done with this premise, but the first 20 minutes are pretty solid, and at least it doesn't get bogged down like so many teen horror films with sex. Granted, given Victor Silva's reputation, maybe that would have been a better alternative than the one we got.
