I love the intricate wood carvings and the walls made from mud. You can sense the hands of those that made this place.

Thank you for another interesting and beautiful (and wonderfully edited) video. Your gentle approach is amazing and shows another side to China that compares very differently to the one that I experienced mostly in Chongqing and Shanghai.

I think that places like this will require speaking Chinese language. If one explores outside big cities do we need to bring our own translator with us? Nice, educational show today. Happy Trails

Your storytelling and ability to capture the spirit of the people are excellent. Keep up the great work! Hopefully someone at China Media Group sees your content and hires you to produce more content like this. Great way to showcase the rich history and diversity of China - and how the different cultures have survived to today.

This is an excellent video. Yes, this way of life must be documented before it is gone. When you put text up to explain things, could you leave it for a little longer? I can’t get through the reading before it is gone. Thank you.

I LOVE that you have your dog in your basket. If you were a local villager, that basket would be filled with roots and shoots, food and wood for daily meals and firewood for oooking. But your basket has a pet doggie 🐕. I heard Yunnan eats dogs and China has many notorious dog snatchers who sell it to dog restaurants. Please be careful. I also want to visit Yunnan. I love roses and mushrooms, and tribal culture. I also am a dog lover, and feel very sensitive to the fact that dogs are eaten in China. I worry about running into this practice.

Don't worry. Using translation software, you can use cash, but you just need to prepare extra change.😊
