When i was living in Macau 40 years ago as a young man (currently in USA), mainland China seem both near and far away because of different life two places entail! Yet all oversea Chinese have deep sense of longing for mother land like ophen long to reunited with birth mother, we were all quietly rooting for China no matter politics, I still view China as still in progress to better place! It's my whish China of old as a undivided land can come to fruition through peaceful mean in my lifetime!

Visited Xi'an about 10 years ago now and was fascinated and amazed by everything there. Your videos are so gentle and thoughtful, not like some loud travel vlogs. Also I learnt a new word, "stele", thank you! Oh, and I didn't realise that Shanxi and Shaanxi were two different provinces!

It's such a beautiful video. The music is wonderful as the sights all around you. You make it even more romantic than if anyone else were making them. I want to visit China and see some of these places that you share with your viewers. China is really the most amazing country in the world.

Nice video. The terracotta soldiers' museum takes about two hours to walk, at least that is how long it took us. Xi'an has more attractions as well. We wound up going to Baoji to visit my friends' aunts. Fun trip. We flew from Shenzhen to Xi'an. I filled up my entire phone with photos and videos on this trip.

Another awesome video! I've heard of Emperor Qin and Empress Wu Zetian but remember few details about them. The captivating story-telling of this video will definitely get me to remember them better. The music and the slow motions dramatize the narration very effectively. Congratulations on the great work 👍

I love this series. Thank You. I have to wonder about the female emperor. I have never heard of any female leaders from any country who were not demonized by those rulers who came after them. No words on her steele seems like another way to erase and silence her. We never really know the deeds of women leaders' as we do the history of men.
