unfortunately keeping a daedric item or not isnt a choice....most if not all of them are designed in such a way that they vanish from someones possession after a certain amount of time (doesnt actually happen in game but thats the explanation as for why they appear multiple times throughout the series)

t84t748748t6 i think Azura will closely watch the fate of dragonborn, ensure that it will be a long time before he passed But i'm sure that unless the daedra ask a New Champion to defeat the DB, plus ensure his/her soul belong to that daedra. Otherwise DB will go to Sorvenga

Honestly Azura is my 4th favorite Daedric "Prince". She seems like the most trustworthy and gives some pretty good loot. My favorite is Sheogorath because it's always a fun time when he's around

so, um. at least in English, all regents are technically 'princes', male or female. whatever title you take on during your life (father 'king' dies, 'crown princess' becomes 'queen', etc.), that royal can be referred to as a prince. when Elizabeth I says that "the law is for the common people, not for princes" in The Golden Age, for example, she's referring to herself and Mary Queen of Scots, not just some hypothetical royal boys. Or, which I think is likely the case, when Bethesda calls these divines 'daedric princes', it's meant in its gender neutral form. since this doesn't seem to be common knowledge, i thought i'd mention, in case anyone cares.

Great upload, many thanks! Man, this really reminded me when i played Morrowind for the first time all those years ago and discovered the huge statue of Azura guarding her temple in the mountains. It's been a hell of a breathtaking sight back then! I don't play ESO, but of course heared of the Morrowind expansion the game got not to long ago. Really hope they've left Azura's temple and her statue where it's used to be back in the early 2K's.

All Daedric Princes are referred to with masculine title regardless of representation because they use Angel entitlement, which- well just read the books. (I hate them [the faith] myself, but I find the monsters [angels, demons, god, they're all monsters] interesting.)

Azura is also the bodyguard of the Nerevarine off topic but i think the Nerevarine is the strongest of all the main characters from the Elder Scrolls Games.

When you look at pure game mechanics the Nerevarine is capable of the most stupidly powerful abilities in the entire franchise to the point the game can't even calculate it. That's pretty rad in and of itself.

Zakaria That isn't covered my her, fertility would probably come under Kyne/Kynareth as a goddess of nature. Mara would be maternity as she covers all love, also possibly Kyne as the Nord referer to her as the mother godess

Considering the fact that she also takes the form of a Dunmer in Morrowind it doesn't seem that Azura seems it as a curse on the Dunmer but a curse on the Tribunal because if they look at the Dunmer they will see Azura staring back. Vivec caused the Red Year for leaving Baar Dau over Vvardenfell and using it to hold the Dunmer hostage. If Azura didn't send the Nerevarine to stop Dagoth Ur which required unbinding the Heart of Lorkhan then all the Dunmer would have been infected with corpus and Dagoth Ur would have completed Akulakhan.

Sapphire yet another person that misunderstood. None of them have any sort of transition between genders because they didn't have one in the first place. They aren't human, they aren't human like, they're not mortal, they don't reproduce. They don't have gender and will themselves into looking as they please. The title Daedric prince is exactly the same as flame Atronach. Literally just a type of daedra, although the princes are obviously incredibly powerful to the point of being gods, but regardless Prince is a classification and has nothing to do with gender at all. You're gendering something that doesn't have gender isn't that normally offencive to you people

Vivec is a hermaphrodite. If hermaphrodites exist trans people 100% exist in Tamriel. Stop excluding Trans people from fantasy. They can and do exist. And yes I know the aedra and daedra are technically genderless but a lot of them have a gendered form they prefer to appear in, so actually as sentient beings even if they dont have genitals of any kind that doesnt mean they are "genderless". Azura probably appears are female often for a reason, she probably identifies with that form and if she identifies that way, that is her gender. So yeah, please stop the erasure of representation for these people in a fantasy world over your own bigotry.
