Nova Scotia, Canada....picturesque fishing villages, rocky shorelines and the many iconic lighthouses might be the first things that come to mind, and that is true but Nova Scotia has so much more to offer.
From the highlands, forests and lakes, farm lands and valleys, to the rugged shorelines, beautiful white sand beaches, and the highest tides in the world.
In this video we will take a trip down along the coast and focus on the southwestern part of this beautiful Canadian province.
We will check out some amazing spots that I visited on a recent trip back to a place I will always consider home.

On a recent trip back home I took a couple days with my family and drove along the southwest coast of Nova Scotia and these are some of the beautiful spots you can enjoy along the way. If you have never been to Nova Scotia before it would be a great choice to choose for an upcoming trip. There is much more to see and do across the province than what I could possibly show. As always this is a great video. Nova scotia has so much to offer, from friendly people to scenery and great seafood. this part of N.S. has some beautiful beaches and lots of rugged shores . There are so many beautiful towns along the way, be sure to stay awhile and visit and enjoy . thanks for this video Wade it is very informative.

I had the chance to spend a couple days in Lunenberg a few years ago. Took a whale watching tour, saw the Bluenose, Canada’s most famous ship, under full sail, walked the waterfront and visited museums, learned some of the history; great memories!

Shhhh...don't give up too many of our secrets! Nothing to be seen here...nothing! LOL Balancing Rock is quite something...and once upon a time one could actually go right out and touch it. Still many beaches that hardy see a soul all down that stretch of coastline, so as you say, take those side roads as one will not be disappointed. Indeed, one has got to get to Lunenburg, Blue Rocks and Mahone Bay for sure. Never complete without a visit to the iconic Peggy's Cove! Yup, this is where I choose to call home!

I can't believe the local government could not find the funds to save such a historic building. It is now for sale for $250,000. Hopefully, someone buys it.

Born and raised in NS (now in Ontario) Other than Peggy's Cove and the Flight 111 memorial, I don't think I've been to any of those other places.
