The new fuel high torque sees most of its improvements with the Forge Battery, not much reason to upgrade without that.

Nope. It's all one item so you cant just return one. U will hv to sell one when it comes in to recoup some costs OR if they each come in separate boxes you might try to do a store credit return and return one without a receipt if you shop at HD often.

Because they wanna get rid of those….mid torque is too much for 3/8. Stubby in 3/8 and mid torque & high torque in 1/2!is the rational thing.

I think 3/8 would be better in a mid torque than a stubby. My stubby with a fully charged 4.0 can’t take off 19mm Subaru lug nuts in 20* weather. Torqued to 95lbs.

@@snakehead5444 I can only speak for myself but my car's lugnuts are torqued to 80 ft-lbs and my 3/8 stubby does them just fine. I'm talking 40 F weather though, at the coldest. Honestly, I don't think the stubby is made for lugnuts as a routine device. I use mine for rusted/seized fasteners.
