What an inspirational story! I've been enjoying The Old Man and had no idea that it was filmed before COVID-19. I had no idea that Jeff Bridges had experienced the last 2 years in such struggles. This not only had me floored from his struggles but floored me as well from reflecting my struggles being so similar. He's a great inspiration to so many people who have struggled these past 2 years. It's so great to hear he's doing well. Can't wait to see the rest of this latest series! 😍 and for what's next to come for Jeff Bridges. This 'old man' seems to have a new leash on life!

Jeff Bridges has done some great work in The Old Man, a limited series on Hulu. It's my understanding he started filming for this series as he was finishing up treatment for his cancer. Impressive! Edit: Oops! I guess the new series was actually produced by FX, though I saw it on my Hulu feed!

Being somewhat of an old hippie, I'd love to be able to hang with Jeff for an afternoon... he's just a super chill guy, with a lot of perspective on life! 45 years of marriage and still madly in love, hard to do, even harder to do while living the life of a Hollywood elite... Sea Hunt started the year I was born, but was in reruns all through my childhood and I was hooked. Many years later while on leave from the Air Force, my roommate who was from Florida and his best friend took me down the river in the friend's boat, you could drive the boat right into Silver Springs (where much of Sea Hunt and Tarzan was filmed) and follow the glass bottom tour boats around, hear them describe the items left behind by Sea Hunt and Tarzan shows, the water was so clear you didn't need a glass bottom boat to see everything... it took me right back to that little kid watching tv...

As a child I watched Lloyd Bridges on Sea Hunt. Beau Bridges looks a lot like me and is about the same age. So i have been a lifelong Bridges fan. I noticed Jeff bigtime in The Last Picture Show and everything since.

Along with his Dude character being amazing, I also favor him most as Wild Bill Hickok in a very short western directed by Walter Hill, " Wild Bill ". Check it out. He portrayed Hickok the best of all the movies I have seen. I also think he should pick a famous old west Mountain Man from the American past (there were several with true facts preserved) and do a movie of his life. I hope he would be up to it and want to do it. So glad he pulled through the health hazards.

I have always admired Jeff. Been watching him since I was 10. He was my first anti hero in Thunderbolt and Lightfoot In the Catholic Seminary in the 90s I was known as the Dude because I'd always used Dude and Jeff brought it back! I just don't like our culture of celebrity. Jeff Bridges is probably a fine normal regular dude, but I don't need to know all this stuff about him. However, I am glad there will be a season two of The Old Man. That was a pretty well done series. I just wish if studios were going to do series that they will fit it all into one big package instead of multiple seasons because they often get cancelled and you never find out what was supposed to happen.
