Exterior Detail, Prep, and Ceramic Coat! (Gyeon Pure Evo)

I do a full exterior detail including a pre wash foam soak and paint correction followed by an application of Gyeon Pure Evo.

I coated my truck with Gyeon Pure EVO about 9 days ago. Some panels I applied Pure EVO and other panels I applied CQUARTZ SiC as a test. I know Pure is 1 coat but I did 2 coats of both. So far the SiC panels seem to have a lot more clarity than the Pure. The Pure and SiC gloss wise is very close but the clarity of the Pure is concerning. Maybe it's because I did 2 coats instead of 1. What surprised me most is that my other 2 vehicles with Gyeon Can Coat EVO look glossier and have better hydrophobic water behavior. I'm going to top both coatings on the truck with Wolfgang Uber ceramic spray in about a month because it has crazy hydrophobics.

Yeah the 2 coats might have affected it. Hard to tell without further testing it. Personally I think Mohs is my favorite Gyeon coating after using their whole line up. Im going to try CSL with Exo V5 on my car in the next few weeks.

@@untappeddetails3257 I almost forgot that I had applied Car Pro Release to the coatings for temporary protection during the cure. I'm pretty sure that's what is giving the hazy look because the Pure looked great before. It should wash off with a couple washes.

@COC785 yeah that possible for sure. I think release has some wax in it so I could see it having a little haze
