Extreme backyard makeover, vinyl sheet driving, Pile driving and Earth anchors

On this project, we were going to remove the customers, old Boardwalk and aluminum seawall that was failing. After discussing the project with him, I advised him to increase the elevation of the wall to be able to possibly install a pool in a future and get some of the slope out of the yard, which he was on board with, the transformation of this is amazing!

My Vinyl vendor recommends furlong. Seawalls says they’re really good guys. His comments, Sarasota. From what I hear is he does quality work. I’ve only seen a couple of his jobs and they looked good

Thanks for watching my channel and your question. I work with a lot of pool companies in the area that run into the situation and we can make it happen. We can install a lower mantra system or as your excavating for the pool I can be on site to install new tie back system underneath the pool.

What's the approximate cost of the seawall and dock?

Thanks for watching my channel and your question. There’s a lot of variations to go into a dock as our style synthetic decking piling diameter and Piling embedment. But you could probably start with $25 per square foot and go up to about $40 per square foot. Seawalls the same situation it all depends on if you have an existing wall that’s gotta be removed soil conditions and the elevation of the wall. If you going with Wood or going with a vinyl wall. They range from 250-750$ per lineal foot . I hope this helps

I’m really sure but in the area where there could potentially be a deep end I installed the Manay earth anchors at a steeper angle so they could dig down a little deeper without disturbing the tieback system. I believe 6 to 7 are installed in that area. If this doesn’t work for the pool, they went to install. I can always modify the Anchor system when the pool is going in. This has been done in the past.

Thanks for watching my channel and your question, very observant. I have never used bolts bolting my wailers to the pilings this system the way I do it has worked for 45 years. I could see where the bolts may be needed if you don’t have the soil pressure against the wall, pressing against the pilings where it may get it eroded and leave the wall vulnerable to wave action. we use a continuous whale system so there really no joints in it. Everything screw together with 4 inch screws and 6 inch screws.

Thanks for watching my channel and your question with the style of wall. I have never been back yet to replace one. There is a 50 year warranty on the vinyl and with the pilings being wrapped with Piling wrap we should never have a problem with the Torito board worms eating them.
