It always amazes me how people let their vehicles get so filthy! It’s literally one of the most expensive things we own! Take care of them! Thank goodness they have you! Is this the 2020 Explorer? Very nice! I wouldn’t have chosen than interior, though! 😂 Thanks for sharing your work! 😊

You applied the ceramic wax incorrectly... the method you used was for subsequent applications, not the first one. You're supposed to spray it on then dry the vehicle as normal the first time.

Hey Stauffer. In order for that ceramic spray coating from meguairs to work you have to spray it on them wipe down the car with a damp microfiber cloth. After that you can rince it off and it should beed like crazy. Hope this helps.

For a 2 step paint correction (compound and polish) which color polishing pads from Lake Country do you recommend? 1 for compound and 1 for polish.

Have you tried Chemical Guys VRP? Its like a cream for vinyl, rubber, and plastic and leaves a high gloss, dry to the touch finish. It also lasts for weeks not days. its like silk touch but super concentrated.

YES! finally someone who shares my clay technique, forget wasting loads of money on quick detail spray as lube, car wash liquid is actually far cheaper and allows you to clay an entire car in a fraction of the time its takes to do it the 'proper way'!

I detailed my brother's car a while back. First time it had been done, sprayed on the Bilt Hamber Korrosol, the whole car seemed to turn Pink / Purple even though having been washed before!

You're never supposed to spray directly on the consoles because it can cause a short and can also get rid of the lettering on older vehicles. Spray onto the towel or brush

A heads up! I just found out that you need to replace your PUMP OIL every 500 hours on your electric pressure washer. I would highly suggest also using a pump guard in very small dosages after every job

Great video, just remember to read the instructions with hybrid ceramic. That first coat needs to be applied with a towel. Afterwards it’s spray and rinse. Makes a big difference.

Excellent job as always 👌👌. 1 tip from me for the Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic Wax, when you apply it first time on a vehicle, mist down little on 1 panel and massage it in with a microfiber towel then hit it with the pressure washer. I am using the same protection as I am a detailer too. Kind Regards from Macedonia ✌

Here’s a tip that helps me clean the top of trucks and SUV’s bc I am a pretty short person myself so I always use a step ladder you can find them at lows and or Walmart

I have a car very similar to this one, and I detailed it myself and must’ve over sprayed the silk and shine or another cleaning chemical on the instrument cluster. There are now spots that seem “etched“ into the plastic panel over the gauges. Do you have any suggestions on how to remove that?
