Kind of a beginner question - the 630fps velocity, obviously works like a charm - but are there reasons beyond the three I'm assuming below? Seems to be a pretty arbitrary velocity? My instinct is to never decrease the speed of a subsonic round. 1. Conservation of compressed air in the tanks. 2. Quieter, doesn't scare rats into hiding. 2. Less damage to structures in case of a miss (can't happen of course!) or a pellet passing thru a rat & ending up in livestock or feed.

Oi Rod! Can we have a review of an affordable scope? These exy scopes make for 10/10 viewing content for sure (and I really do mean that BTW) but you using a sub $3000 scope, which is still fairly well up there for most of us, might be fun and informative on your channel too. See, I might buy an FX Impact for the rabbits around my joint. It just makes economic sense in the long term. By the time I get it, a spare charge cylinder and accessories, a tripod and ball mount, scope and rings I'd like to be all in for say not more than about $8k, rather than $15k if you know what I'm saying. The sub $3k scope might see deer service on a .308 too - since they're getting about as common as the rabbits around here at certain times of the year eg. 13 of the kunce ran in front of my car as I was getting in one morning. Can you believe that? Then a big muscly buck with huge antlers (don't ask me how many points it had lol) ran in front of the car and jumped over a fence like it wasn't even there. He was half the size of a steer. He was friggen huge.
