EZ LYNK OR AUTO CAL?

One main thing you forgot about the EZ is you download tune revisions/ new tunes from the air and do not need a computer to hook up to. With the auto cal you need to have a computer with you to download to the autocal and then flash to truck. Another positive you left out is being able to data log with the EZ and send directly to the tuner if your truck is acting up. Those are those pretty large positive in which people are switching. Also the majority of people who run EZ use an old phone as a constant monitoring device and does not need to be their personal phone nor a tablet.

you don't need the switch, you can def flash each tune independently after flashing the initial full 1 file

With EZ LYNK can you add a actual EGT Probe or trans temp probe like you can with the EDGE that is just plug and play?

Justin W yes you can sorta depends on the brand truck. With dodge you buy an extension wire and pull a factory egt sensor from the exhaust you pull off and you can mount it wherever you like. Not sure about ford or gm

i like those tunes but i stick with PPEI tuning, i have just had really good luck with them

Mm3 is just a platform and not specific tuning. You can get PPEI and many other specific tuners with MM3. I would look into calibrated addiction for the ram as several people have issues with PPEI trans tuning on rams

You don’t have to leave the ezlink plugged in. If you want to monitor the gauges you do, but you can still use the DSP switch to change tunes. Honestly, you don’t need to always monitor the truck, but if you want to, you can still use the edge for monitoring. I’ve never had a problem with my ezlink system unless my phone is trying to connect to my home WiFi. I’ve had it for about 7 months now and it works flawless.

I've got the EZ-lynk, never had any issues. Automatic updates, this thing is great. One issue I have is that you can't change the background colors.... Not a big deal because I'm sure they will put out an update for that eventually.

You can use your old phone or just buy a older iPhone and leave it the same way you would leave your monitoring cts

Last I checked the tuner isn’t near as important as the “Company/person” programming for you. As far as auto-cal vs EZ Lynk, if you like those tiny screens they give you cool... I like a much larger screen to monitor my gauges and I can basically use any screen I want via Bluetooth.

I have the edge cts2 for towing as well I can monitor everything at one glance GMC makes you toggle through each one at a time on the dash and is a pain in the butt.

Ezlynk is they way to go! I have never had a problem with my ezlynk it works flawless. I don't keep it plugged in unless I'm towing.

Bee Gee Yes add your tunes with EZlynk 2..0 . The only reason you would leave EZlynk hooked up would be to monitor through your phone . Cts2 is what you need for the monitor.

no thats high. should be 1100 for 5 tunes, 600 ish for 5 inch or 500 for 4 inch, 800 for lift pump and probably 4-6hrs or so of labor usually in the 3 grand area
