Hey brotha i just barely received the efi live tuner with sotf switch from tuner depot and a 5" straight pipe no muffler ProFlo exhaust from diesel dudes ill be installing in the next few days. Thanks for the video man this was perfectly detailed and super helpful. Ill keep yall posted, Truck is a 2015 lml with 49000 miles on it. Wont get out of re gen or get rid of check engine light. Only had the truck since 40,000 miles. Check engine light has been going on and off and gets put into high idle mode been stuck in that for about 3-4 weeks now. Had no choice but to delete it.

Just helped my dad flash his Chevy LML with the delete kit tune you have linked. He wants to install the switch but im unsure if the tune they emailed him is a single tune or a multi tune. Any advice while im waiting on support to contact me?

Sotf isn't multiple tunes on lml, tune 5 is the base tune, then 1-4 is just defueling by tricking the fuel rail sensor. Sotf tune is usually a little different then a single tune.

I installed DSP 5 on my LML and its kind of a waste if time unless your towing with the truck IMO.... The +150hp (#4) DSP file feels nothing like a single +150hp file. I felt like the truck made less power & the trans hated my guts when i changed tunes. Single +200hp file with TCM tuning & added pressure is all i run now. Now im bummed i put a hole in my dash...

On a lml Duramax when you install the soft switch to check to make sure its working. When you switch through the tunes these should be some sort of fuel gauge reading that will change is this something you have heard of or know about? trying to make sure i change the right pins in my ecm for 13 lml. Any knowledge would be appreciated. Thanks and great vid as always man.

Is the lowest level on the SOTF plain stock or level one tune? So once it's installed your tuned and no option in the switch to have no tune? Thanks

It depends how the tuning company does it where you get the tunes from, but typically a level 1 setting is stock power (since this truck is deleted it’s not a full “stock” tune because it still had emissions off) then the power levels increase as the switch gets turned up.

Hello, I bought a 2015 gmc duramax and the dsp switch has 10 clicks and have no difference between 1-10. Do I have a bad switch, the wiring looks like your video. I have a efi live controller but not sure what to do. It shows no tunes available. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Most likely the first 5 positions will be the tunes, everything after the 5th position will be the same.

There is a washer with a pin that limits the switch to 5. It’s suppose to go on the switch first before installing in the panel.

So I have a quick question. I know you said this truck is a 2011 but the front end bumpers and grill are not 2011. The bumpers are from 7-10. Are we sure it’s a 2011 lml?

That lock position washer fell off on me, and now I have more than 5 clicks. What can I do😢

Put it back in, if you lost it then you need to somehow put something in the hole to set it to the number of clicks you want. Or just use it like that and remember that tune 5+ are all the same tune

He moved the TCM because the factory location is on the radiator.. Coincidentally, these TCM’s are failing due to heat. Guys are having a difficult time finding replacements also. Chip shortage or something along those lines. 👍 (the more ya know)

Pro tip there are special pin removal tools that will unlock pins without damaging anything they're available on Amazon for next to nothing I cannot even begin to tell you how many plugs I've seen mangled due to DIY guys digging with pics screw drivers and drill bits in your case if you wreck an ECM plug you have seriously messed up it's not worth it when the proper tools are 20 bucks
