I believe they also repurposed some of the HAWK anti-aircraft missile seeker design and incorporated the flight controls from the original AIM-54 in the Fakour-90. It was something that Hughes (the original designer of the AIM-54) had a BVR Mach 5 missile all the way back in the 1970s. Granted, it was physically gigantic, but it worked!

That was an insane beginning man. I loved that video shot of the Patriot hitting the SU-25 and then you rolling to the left when you realised. It looked sick. I've noticed that in other vids... Under attack and taking off i've seen him go around and down and such instead of just saying...that's clear...let's go and take off sooner. only thing i can think of is fodder getting in the engines because taxi doesn't suck up anything big enough to do damage...but under take off power in a tense situation it may suck in rocks or whatever that could damage the engine.

As an Iranian, I love these videos. They hit kinda different than the other missions you usually do. And those missiles are Fakoor-90. They supposedly have better seekers and a few more miles range.

I know there are logistical and physical security reasons for keeping the fighters housed away from the runway, but there REALLY needs to be a more direct path for jets to get off the ground. Running all over hell and gone on taxiways trying to get to the end of the runway just seems like they're begging for planes to get hammered.
