They mentioned last week they were wiping reputation and aUEC. I might have to try the default loadout again, but I had to swap it back to what I was mostly using on the C. Haven't gotten time yet with the new flight/balance yet. I just wish the pips were labeled though.

it looks like they are, i got energy on nose and ball and ballistics on wings. both are circles but the wing/ballistics have sort of a crosshair look to it.

I really wish we could use the F7C2's baby blue paintjob with this, I love the loadout but the C is just such a pretty ship. I believe it's possible to move the A turrets to the C, but you lose the upsized missiles, and you have to buy two ships and neuter one to do so.

What is the difference between this and the f7c mk 2? Don’t know if I can get the overdrive missions done in time to get the upgrade so I’m curious how big the difference is. Was on erkul and didn’t really see any big differences.

Mostly the higher gun points on the ship. F7C Baseloadout: 2x Size 4 under the Wings, 8x S1 Missiles, fixed Racks. F7A Baseloadout: 2x Size 4 under the Wings, 2x S3 on Top, 2x S3 on Nose, Fixed Missile Racks, but Size 2 The F7C will probably not be able to mount nose and turret of the F7A and is therefore stuck at max 2xS2 or 1xS4 on Turret and 2xS1 (maybe 2xS2 on nose if they can apply Nose Turret of F7A MK1) or 1xS3 on Nose. Furthermore the F7C has 2x S1 Plant, whereas the F7A has 1x S2 Power Plant, resulting in a bit better power management.

I still think they will lock the UEEN green paint for both the MK1&2 as a progression reward in Sq42. The mavs situated around the ball turret operates very different compared to the F7A mk2 we saw in the intro of Held the Line video (44 sec in the vid), i wonder if the version we got is an update or if there are different types of mavs.

Remember, folks, ballistics are bad against armor, but deal hull dmg through shielding. Lasers are the ones that deal good dmg to armor.

FYI make sure you take off your paint if you have an aftermarket one applied first before you apply the upgrade or the paint will get eaten.

Reputation is not a full wipe .Once I did the cert missions I got back to where I was .. There seemed to be an issue with the rep servers earlier in the night

Does the military version handle better in atmosphere than the civilian version? It's incredibly difficult to fly the civilian one even when just strafing to the side to blow up bunker turrets, just bucks you! If the military version has better control, I'm totally for it!

One would expect a Size 2 Power plant, that outputs much more power than the Size 1 or even 2 size one power plants, would give you a better capacitor / capacitor regeneration pool..... The JS-300 S1 Military Grade "A" power plant gives 3,681 pwr/s. IF the ship had x2 slots - that would be: 7,362 pwr/s. However, the Hornet F7A MK II, actually has a single Size 2 Power Plant! If i slap on a JS-400 Size 2 Military Grade "A" power plant it gives: 10,625 pwr/s!!! That is a difference of around 3,263 pwr/s! Thats basically a 3rd Size 1 power plant.... If we follow Logic, sadly in this case we don`t. It SHOULD have a considerably better capacitor or even if it is the same as the F7C MK II`s capacitor, it should be with a Faster regeneration of the capacitor pool`s total energy values! A power plant that gives out more power = SHOULD equal = More daka-daka or pew-pew!! Am i wrong? Is my logic flawed? 1 last thing: If the ship HP values on Erkul are to be believed, the F7A MK II and The F7C MK II both have 21,605 hull hp. That does not make sense to me. The civilian F7C should have Light ARMOR - thus lower total HP. I am expecting the F7A MK II to have Medium armor / maybe until Mealstorm comes online it should have like 30,000 hp or so? or better Damage Reduction i guess? So many questions..... Lets hope it is re-balanced later, to be better than what it currently is. Don`t get me wrong. I am loving flying around in my F7A MK II - its just that i feel that its Energy / Weapon capacitor pool is limited for no reason :(

First of all thank you for the detailed powerplant explanation, and yes I am surprised that the ship only has one powerplant as well, and as well as the current components in the game, but all the components are still WIP, they just overhauled the weapons, so let's see what they will do with the components, hopefully eventually they will be in a good state.

Once you get in game you will receive a reward mission. Accept it. Log out. Apply upgrade in hangar. Enjoy.

When you go in game, it should present a mission called overdrive initiative reward. Accept the mission and it puts the upgrade token in your hangar

if you did phases 1-5 of Overdrive then you should get a priority mission pop up called "overdrive initiative: reward". Accept it and you get the rental and upgrade token attributed to your account.

You should have a priority mission in your mobiglass that says "reward" accept that mission and it will give you the F7A upgrade token and the F7A rental.

Why would it not be? If we look at real life jets the heavier you go the more fucked you get in thrust to weight ratio. Extrapolating that to the game, why in the hell would my up armored heavy fighter, not only be faster but tankier than it's lighter cousins? Legit the primary advantage of going medium or light fighter over heavy is agility and speed... If you want to point out where they fucked the f8 pilots, look at the hard points not the speeds my man.

Nothing works in this patch 3.23. Missions don't work. While riding the subway, he throws himself off the train. The doors in the rooms do not open. Items disappear from your inventory. This is one big virus.

The only issues being, its a cheap fighter, ''ten a penny'', every peon will have one, fighters are a noob purchase, which i dont partake anymore , ide rather buy the Concept capitals/sub capitals.......yet i'll still need escorts, so keep doing those crappy missions boys!.
