Actually, ‘Skid Row’ was designated by the L.A. City Council, to be the ‘homeless collection area’ in the Great Depression. It’s never really, lost it’s ‘status’ as that. Even given the vermin & serious disease of homeless users self sequestered around the city, they should be rounded up & gathered there. Sure, it’d become a very concentrated problem of problem people, but they shouldn’t be allowed to clog up the rest of the cities of L.A., causing the aforementioned public safety & health issues, & producing a definite road hazard issue, if they’d been ordered to ‘drive it elsewhere’ (as we’d seen last week!), in disintegrating RVs, for even just a few blocks or miles. It’s insane.

No wonder taxes are so expensive, Why does it takes a dozen city employees to tow a few that are illegally parked, and take numerous pictures and video. If I get a parking ticket, or get towed, guess what?....there is not a dozen city workers. I just pay the fine, I don't sue the city. Once a vehicle is raised on the tow truck, know one is allowed in the vehicle for safety reasons.

The bottom line is this...if the city decides to tow someone's home away therefor adding to the homeless problem they should make sure there is someone there to help that person with alternative options. After the pandemic many people found themselves homeless. The woman in the black van was in a tent until someone gave her the van. She works hard every day and does not do drugs and is just trying to survive like most of us. How would you feel if you had to stand there and watch everything you own being taken away? And nobody around to offer you help with a place to sleep that night? She wasnt homeless now she is!
