@FabRats what did you use for a fuel pump on the wood truck? Was that something you bought separately or from Holley? I have an old 86 dodge I want to do this to, thanks for any help.

You gotta keep Tom around, he's the only guy I've heard say "We need to install it where we can take it out without tearing apart the whole truck". Golden

I did all of if my chainsaws a couple of years ago... New filters, plugs, lines, and rebuilt the carbs. Then I got on eBay and found a rare part for an old top handle poulan that was my Dad's... 67-68 saw that one was. After you do one and it's too cold to do anything else, you just begin to enjoy it a lot.

You would think after watching 100's of video's (including the derby ones) I would be bored to tears. But i tell you what, they are still quite entertaining and it has been fun watching your kids grow up along side my grandkids (16 / 10 / 6) It is like an extended family. The ONLY new car i have ever had was a 1973 Chevy C-10, Beautiful truck gold and white. First thing i ever had with air conditioning. That truck rusted out in 2 years. I learned how to do body work on that truck and to paint. Once i had that painted it looked great. Decided to keep it------ Big mistake, by the next sumer that body was worse than before, so i fixed it again and before the paint was dry it was in the yard for sale. Hated that but had to go, I had all sorts of issues with that truck, But i needed it for hauling my stuff to the race track. Ended up buying a used International scout-Loved that thing.

Shop fire story; helped a buddy rebuild the engine in his '65 Chevy p/u. Was priming the carb with a beer can full of gas.... It backfired, I flinched, throwing burning gas on the truck & myself. Buddy gave me a (gas soaked) rag to put myself out with. Threw the now burning rag over under my Harley. In the midst of this, our wives came to get some beer out of the shop fridge, they stopped, looked at each other, and went back into the house without a word! Didn't even try to help us idiots put all the fires out! 😂

I use an Echo, but I keep saying that when it dies, I will get a Stihl. It's been 25 years, and it's still sawing. Then I inherited a 50-year-old McCulloch with a 24" bar; I use it about once a decade, and it never fails to run.
