It's inverted for me, going up makes the eyelids go down. Any reason this could be happening?

You canmake shape keys animations without using bones. But I think it is very difficult to animate and u can not use pose mode.

seems like to much of a tedious process. This could be simplified if face armatures could be used as shape key drivers, right?
