Father Mike, I felt so prepared for Advent this year due to your guidance in prayers. Last night when I went to Mass, after Communion as I was kneeling and praying, I found that tears were just rolling down my face. I realized that it didn’t matter that the guy in the row in front of me was aware of my tears. He let his wife know and both of them kept running around. I’m not sure if it was curiosity or concern. I was with my family so they weren’t sure what to do. The words that kept running through my mind were that “the Eucharist is the body, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus Christ”. It brought such joy and fulfillment that is still hard to describe. During the night I woke up 4 separate time with those words either being spoken to me or coming out of my mouth. Today, I feel amazing. Just wanted you to know that you have reached another total stranger. Thank you.

One of the greatest gifts of God is tears during Communion. You should feel very blessed you were given this grace.

Life is overwhelming for me, because I am a single parent and I’m constantly faced with financial difficulties. Lord I struggle to provide the basic necessities for my sons. That’s so amazing, at the beginning of this sermon, when I was encouraged to think about what would I want to tell the Lord when I meet Him, I thought i couldn’t say anything else but thank You! And then the sermon continues, and it’s all about how thankful we should be… I feel it’s so amazing that all I could think of is being thankful. Thankful for my very existence, for the fact that He loves me, even though I don’t feel like I deserve it, even though I’m sad because my life is far from being settled, even though I haven’t been loved as much as I wish I were. But thank You nevertheless, because life is beautiful and worthy of being lived, and the world and the universe is amazing, and our lives are full of joy.
