Agree that this is not so much a Facebook Analytics tutorial, but more of a Facebook metrics overview. Nonetheless, great job going over how to understand each metric! It can definitely be overwhelming out the gate when you don't know which metrics are important because there is a lot of stuff in there, and most of them are junk depending on what your objectives are. I'd say the 3 biggest ones to focus on ROAS, cost per result, CPM. Everything else is really secondary if those numbers are solid!

Hey Ajith. Could you explain more of what you mean by that? Do you mean how should you price the product? However, I'd say it's best to learn about Facebook ads and marketing when running a business to at least understand the basics. 🚀 -Rio

Great video series! Super helpful, though can I clarify the bounce rate calculation? I think there's an error in the calc? Bounce rate is usually the total visitors to a website who 'bounce' without interacting divided by the total visitors to the page - so, in this case, the bounce rate using the data would be: ( Clicks (All) - Content Views / Clicks (All) ) x 100 Using the figures in the video: ( (168 - 93) / 168 ) x 100 = 44.6%, the inverse of the 55% mentioned in the video. So using your own guidelines of anything below 50% bounce rate is good, you guys did better than stated :) Other than that, wonderful video series and Jessica is fast becoming one of my favorite presenters on anything. Bought the course too! - Daz

I just watched the video and was looking out for a comment like this because I thought the same thing :-) I think it was a mistake and she did the 'stay on' rate instead of bounce rate so yes they did better than they thought. I agree that Jessica is a wonderful presenter! She's amazing.

man the learning curve is steep! great info and your expanations are very good. i want to ask if you can tell us if you have an ad campaign as say an engagement, can you change this type of campaign say to conversion once you see the numbers of the initial engagemnet campaign or do you have to end that first campaign and start a whole new one under conversion? u c? i c under an engagement campaign i get zero ctr but i have over 5,500 reaches and 1,000 engagementst on a 1 day ad campaign. this is mind boggling to figure out! I am trying to sell an online import export course i wrote.

You can't change the objective of a campaign, but you can create a new campaign for conversions, set up the ad set, and then take the post ID from the original ad that you ran under your engagement campaign in your new conversions campaign. That's the best method to ensure all the likes + comments remain :)

Hi Jessica, since the content views are the number of people that viewed the product page, dividing that by the total number of persons that clicked the advertisement (93/168) multiplied by 100 is about 55% - This is the percentage of people that actually stayed on the product page. In other words the bounce rate would be 100% - 55% = 45% not 55%, right?

The other thing is that clicks (all) is bullshit. It doesn't mean that all people open a website. View Content tells you that but there is no way you can calculate bounce rate this way.
@andresuazo61295 жыл бұрын
@@skoczekS1 I'm confused by the bounce rate calculation. She said 93 people of the 168 clicks saw the content. 93/168=55% and anything lower than 50% is good. However, let's say that 160 of the 168 clicks saw the content. Which sounds pretty good because it means almost all the clicks saw your web content. But by that calculation you get a 95% bounce rate which would mean that it is bad? How does this make sense? Am I doing math wrong? If you minus 95% from 100% you get 5% bounce rate which now makes more sense.
