I can't decide if this song should be in A horror movie or a sci fi move..The tom beat makes me think of Nine inch nails..and yeah that Hi hat choke is so good and well played..respect mr weckle

Apparently the version on the album is a loop from the demo sessions. Ken Andrews (bassist/vocals on this track - he usually played the guitar) said that when they tried to recreate it, it just didn't work. As for the NIN connection, Andrews has worked with NIN in the past, and Failure are close friends with the band Tool, so there's a fair amount of crossover there.
