Those maintenance skills are CRITICAL for any boat trip. The success of our trip is all due to the work we did before and during our cruise. Those skills literally get you places!!!

Love your videos. Stock with the soft shackles. We use them on our 30ft sailboat. Had 6mm dyneema soft shackles on the kicker, main sheet and head sail. They are easy to check for wear, and give great service 👍⛵.

Not sure if they still allow it but Pismo Beach used to be one of the few beaches you could camp on with a vehicle in the US. I've camped there about 12 or 13 years ago. Great vid. So anxious to see you guys in Mexico. Give Disco some love from me. Cheers.

I don't recall seeing any cars on the beach but I could be wrong! We're getting closer to Mexico- apologies for taking so long... we don't want to rush the videos! Quality > Quantity Belly rub to Disco delivered! Thanks for the great comment and for watching!

driving on pismo beach specifically was closed in 1982, but you can still drive and camp about 2 miles south of pismo near Oceano, the entrance being off of Grand Avenue

Great job. The soft shackle is awesome for many things. It is worth making a few ahead time. Fun to make too. I wanna learn to surf too. What a great workout. If you guys could make a video with aroma, you could do things that National Geographic hasn't done. National Geographic's pics are very nice but the smell, oh my. The sea lions smell sooooooo bad. Time to move lol. Thanks for bringing us along.

That soft shackle saved our bacon! Love that dyneema- that stuff is made of magic! You wouldn't want to smell that video.... let me tell you- WOOF! Those seals stink! Again, thank you for your donation! That money goes straight to the cruising kitty. Cheers!

Spectra might have been the failed webbing material, more susceptible to UV than nylon, or dyneema
