I wish to suggest the anime "Yuru Camp", an anime about four or so girls that go camping in the Japanese countryside. ..... that's it. That's the plot. There's no consequences or major conflict, nothing terribly bad happens, it gives you educational information about camping and it's one of the single most comfortable and wholesome things you'll ever witness.

Making & consuming art is almost all i do now. when i watched this i thought “ah?? do i talk about animation like this too? she’s a total nerd!! i really sound like that too huh” 😖 This first episode made me remember why i’m still making art & why i fell in love with it. to be completely honest it made me cry.. ive thought about giving it up recently, but i realise now i can’t do that now... not yet. I’m currently studying animation & illustration at uni. I really hope I can grow alongside these girls as the series airs!

I really believe that Masaaki Yuasa and his close affiliate Eunyoung Choi are changing the game for how anime is made. Their anime studio, Science SARU, is releasing a crazy number of productions, and the quality hasn't wavered once. And they're not just impressive at a technical level. Science SARU seriously has some of the most vividly rendered characters in anime. That is the studio's key strength that other studios cannot easily replicate.

It's probably like a reverse of cases where you see realistic paintings/statues in anime and people act as if they look as realistic as the artwork does.
