Came here because Katy Bowman was talking about PDG and i had no idea what it was. Now I see why treadmills are unhealthy--they don't support a posterior driven gait. Thanks for demonstrating!!

I love all your videos on walking! Could you elaborate even more on your efficient walking instructions? Do you land on the heel or you just exaggerated a little bit? Looking forward to more of your videos on walking. Thanks!

Peter Ratz thanks! I’m following up with a couple more quick videos in the next couple weeks. Yes. When walking with a “posterior driven” gait you do land on the heel. However, with hip control it’s not a hard impact. More to come!

@@InfiniteMovement Thank you! Can't wait...Yours make so much good sense. I'll concentrate only on yours from now on. Maybe you could elaborate on how much bent the front knee should be on landing, how wide apart the feet ideally should be, when pushing with rear leg...should I leave the heel down as long as possible or use the big toe to push off?
