Level 300+ here. And there are countless new players that come to my base and look around which I love. I had a guy come ask for 100 rounds of 10mm and he walked away with 5000 rounds lol. If there was any tips I could give it would be get the excavator power armour as fast as you can. That extra weight you can hold comes in handy all the time. You don’t need to wear it all the time but definitely keep it in your inventory just in case. Make sure you check all player vendors. Some people sell really good guns for cheap while others sell for crazy prices. You’ll quickly find the average prices on stuff. Bloodied build is definitely one of the best builds out there. The game is still filled with a heavy amount of bugs and the controls on pc are laughably bad ( especially on the menu / ui navigation side ). The soundtrack of 76 has some pretty good ones, like the one that plays for the "Most Wanted event" and "Scorched earth" being my favorites. Environments themselves are really vibrant and unique. The forest region is usually a safe place to set down camps, the enemy's out in the woods are usually not that dangerous except for a few locations. The savage Davide is a mixed bag, it has a mix of Barren and forested areas but the threats are more present then the Forest, but carries areas that are good looting for resources. The Mire is a Dark, disease infested swamp, yet also a beautiful area, the great lighting from the canopy of the trees covering all of the mire, contrast with the dark muddy swamps below. It also feels a bit unnerving by the dangerous monsters lurking about in those waters, along with how the pre-war structures that were "Devoured" by the Mire. Ash heap is filled with mining structures for looting and Load bearing Events that happen in the area can Net you good resources, yet the Region itself devoid of most plant life, and the resources like water in these areas are dangerous to even drink. Being in this area without a face mask will damage you overtime and can cause you to catch diseases. While the monsters usually are the people who take up residence in those areas with the occasional mutated animal. The Cranberry Bog is a Dangerous place to be, despite its bright pink flora and useful Cranberries for XP recipes , It is a haven for many mutated beast alike, including some of the most powerful monsters you can fight in the game. Its environment really makes you feel like your always Exposed in the wide open while also feeling like your in constant danger, so you must be careful and make sure you have the ammo and material to survive in the Bog. It has the Fallout charm all the other games have, but mixes it up in a fun and unique way that makes it so loved by the player base.

Not to mention faction side quests as well to learn more about the sides at war with one another.

I put about 60 hours into the game around 8 months ago (disclaiming the time in case recent updates make my feedback obsolete). I found it was still a significantly watered down Fallout experience. There are a handful of quests that managed to capture some of the Fallout feeling, but it feels WAY more comparable to a generic MMO (WoW, etc) quest than something you would find in a typical fallout game. There will also be a lot of questlines where you just simply want to blow the head off of the quest giver for the pleasure of knowing they can no exist in the same world as you. You cannot do this. Not unless its specifically part of the storyline. Also, you will find that while the map is significantly larger than other titles, its also primarily dead content or generated garbage. Finally, the online aspect is forced. There is no "enjoying the game solo." Its a multiplayer game and they will seemingly take any opportunity to remind you this. TLDR: If you enjoy the game, then I am happy for you. Just tailor your expectations as needed to avoid disappointment if you haven't!

Trying really hard to enjoy this game as a new player, but it sounds like I've had a much different experience than the person in the video is describing. It feels more like everyone is in their own single player game in the same server than it feels like a multiplayer Fallout experience. Granted, I don't have friends to play it with, but from my experience in my 30 hours so far, I've yet to meet anyone outside of emoting to each other in an event (if you can even call that "meeting"). The vast majority of players I've seen just outright ignore you because they're focused on their own quests and objectives. In fact, it seems usually about 50% or more of the population in servers I join are just afk level farming. I'm desperate to have fun with other players in this game and I try very hard to add people, join teams, etc, but from my experience, the majority of other players aren't interested in that at all.

The vitriol against this game is so annoying at this point. I have been playing this damn game since the Beta, and on launch last gen. (I pre-ordered the steel bookcase edition, so YOU KNOW I dropped some bread) Yes, it had a really bad launch. The game felt like it shouldn't have come out period. Terrible quests, terrible overall main story, subpar endgame. I played this version of the game on and off consistently until the PS5 version was released. Yeah, it wasn't perfect man. far, far, far from anything deemed remotely appropriate. However, this is no longer the case as this game truly taken off in every way. Even before the fallout show this game had already gotten into a good stride with some solid content updates and general bug fixes amongst all platforms. The gameplay felt incredible, along with the improved visuals that came in the next gen update. (Visuals looked a little flat at launch. Day 1 players know what I mean. seemed like it was missing something. It didn't look bad though). It felt really fun to explore Appalachia due to the fact that the world finally started to feel alive. The update that brought the ability to build settlements anywhere on the map to decorate the landscape made it feel so unique as well. This game truly is a hidden gem that started off as a pewter rock, and if it stays that way so be it. The community that never gave up on this game are to thank for the sheer kindness that is shown so freely to newer players in this game. Nothing beats someone wanting to give you high quality items like weapons and armor (CRAFTIG THEM FOR YOU TOO) out of the pure kindness of their hearts to ensure your geared up for the best play time. They hate on issues that are over 6 years old at this point but won't praise all the positive things that have arose from this game in the last 2-3 years. I enjoy the hell out of this game because it is the dream game I have always wanted, Fallout with online players doing fallout things in the most fallout way possible. (I'm now on PC. I have a level 50 save on PS4/Ps5 which is my original launch day save.)

I didn’t play it at launch. I finally tried it a few months ago when I saw a copy in a store for $5 and I LOVED it. I put over 100 hours in it and had a blast doing it. By the time I played it, it actually did feel a lot like a sequel to Fallout 4, which is one of my favorite games of all time. The story was ok, it wasn’t anything crazy good like some of the other games were, but it was fine for what it is. I experienced maybe 2 or 3 game crashes in my entire play-through, and very few bugs. The game was extremely stable for me on PS4 and PS5. I wanted nothing to do with PVP so I ended up almost never interacting with other players but a few times when I did, they were amazing and super nice to me when I was much lower level than them. One guy even helped me through the ENTIRE final quest and spent a whole night of his time just helping me get through the mission and it saved me days of playing if not a week or two cause I’m generally pretty slow with quests. I really can’t see how anyone who loves Fallout couldn’t have any fun with it in its current state. It’s not perfect of course but it’s not a bad game at all right now. I think some people just closed their minds off to it and won’t allow themselves to have fun with it.

I love this game so much, but the thing I love most about this game is that you almost always have something to do, like something to work for, be it leveling up, getting enough cash for that super cool weapon plan, etc. Currently, im working towards buying a full set of T-65 plans. I only have the T-65 Torso plan, but im getting there, slowly but surely. Also, even though the battlepasses are a bit grindy, you don't have to do them. I never really did the battlepass until I saw the final reward on one of them, which was a Space suit power armor paint, which I thought looked awesome, so I worked my way through the whole battlepass and got my awesome armor. Basically what im saying is, its hard to get bored of this game.

@s3rit6619 ай бұрын
@BBKDRAGOON Back in the days of Fallout 3, New Vegas, 4, they used Havok to deal with the physics, that version of Havok was built to be played with a 60fps cap bc the physics engine itself used hardcoded values for everything that was under 60fps (at least that is what I think). What I know for certain is that if you unlock the cap you need to mod the game to set the values yourself or the game would crash or accelerare the physics with the fps. Basically at 120fps the game would run double the speed
