You know, I saw this episode when it was on ABC. I was a boy at the time. What a thrill it was and so cool for Sammy to emerge. And even cooler to see the two men embrace, followed by a kiss from Richard. Sammy pinch hit well during that first question. A great moment in the series history.

You could see and feel the love these two entertainers had for each other. It was genuine , not staged. As Mr.Dawson would say , his mum truly taught him that God makes children like the 🌈 of different beautiful colours.

I thought that Sammy Davis Jr was great. He was always funny. I always thought that when Richard Dawson was the Host, he was a great Host. Sad that he and Sammy Davis Jr are both gone.

I saw the clip of Sammy Davis Jr. hosting and to me he was very funny and new the mechanics of the game well. He would have made a great game show host but he never got the chance to host one.
