Owning less has allowed me to have a cleaner home = less stress/anxiety. It wasn’t till I found contentment that it all came together.

Removing much of the useless clutter has allowed me to enjoy the things I've kept so much more. Alot of what I had was sentimental, or so I thought. My memories of those things are still in my heart, but now I am not saddled with the surplus of items.

“I don’t need more space, I just needed less stuff” ... sooooo true!❤️❤️My word for the year is ‘contentment’ and I totally agree that being more grateful for what I have, is key! Discontent comes from believing the lie that what I have is not enough, or that if I had more, I’d be happier. Your channel is helping me so much. Thank you🙏❤️

Decluttering has given me more time to bake, to read, to go on walks everyday. Laundry and dishes don't haunt me. I don't even remember what I got rid of or how it even made my day harder.

You are so right about the fact that clutter causes stress and anxiety. I'm trying to become a minimalist but I still have too much stuff and it causes my anxiety to get worse and that causes extreme mental and physical fatigue. I'm constantly tired. But, I have already donated pretty much of my belongings :) I just need to find the energy to continue my decluttering :) I absolutely love your videos and your positive energy :)

You are ALWAYS inspiring! I learn SO much each time by watch your videos. Im that person you were talking about buying all the Target Knick Knacks and not having money left. Im now trying to not buying all the knick knacks and having clutter. I just decluttered the other day and donated 4 big bags of stuff and it feels amazing to have less stuff in the house. Im not overwhelmed or stress anymore from clutter and have time to focus more on my family and less to clean. Keep up the great videos❤

You've got this!!! And remember it's totally fine to take a break from decluttering (I did when I was going through the main part of the decluttering process in my home!) I think the main thing is to just focus on not letting it accumulate again in the meantime...the one in one out rule is GREAT for this! Remember, this is a journey! :)

I agree with everything you said about decluttering and having less stuff. Over the last 3+ years I have got rid of about 80 % of what was I my home and cannot remember what most of it was! It has reduced my anxiety having less to manage, made tidying and cleaning easier and I can now spend more time on the people and things that are important 🙂

I followed your back when you did your beauty videos. I was in the buy buy mentality too. I loved everything beauty a racked up an amount of makeup I could never finish. I’m 22, and found minimalism in January of 2020. I decluttered 900 items In 2020. From clothes I had left from middle school, free items from college, old toys, and stuff I didn’t need. I still have a far way to go. But I feel better with each item I let go. I am so excited that my mindset evolved along with yours! I can continue to watch your videos and love them

Recently, we've moved every 2-5 years. SO very much easier to accomplish when you keep your stuff to a reasonable level. I'm constantly working to 'finish with' (use up, read up etc) the remaining things so that the next move (probably 2023) will be easier again. :)

I have been working on decluttering for a while now. We moved from a 2100 square foot house to a 1300. Needless to say, we had to get rid of sooo much stuff! We are loving our new lifestyle. The house is cleaner and we have more money for other things. My next big decluttering project is my classroom. Teachers tend to hold on to so much stuff that “they might use.” Also some things we aren’t allowed to toss. It’s going to be interesting.

I quit shopping about 3 years ago, have decluttered a ton but still have so far to go. Moving in with my bf 2 years ago and now figuring out our joint items, duplicate items, his stuff needs/wants, my stuff needs/wants... has made it more of a challenge but slowly getting there. Hoping by the next time we move that we will have no more than half of what we had before moving in together. Hopefully even just 25% remaining!

You look amazing in red!!!! What color is that lipstick, please?! 💄💋 We are getting our house ready to sell!!!!! Such an exciting time in our lives, but we are planning on getting a bigger house. Our current house is 820 sq ft and only 2 bedrooms. We have a son and a daughter so it’s time they have their own room!!! We are crammed in this house so badly and I have decluttered a lot, but more is to leave this house!! It feels so amazing to get rid of things and have the space free!!!! @FancyThatwithCandice3 жыл бұрын
I suggest starting in a high impact area like the pantry or bedroom closet. Somewhere that will make a BIG difference day one!! These projects can be more overwhelming, so if you don't have time for something like that right now, just start by decluttering a shelf or a drawer. Little bits of decluttering add up FAST!!!

I am still in the beginning, but I am wondering how you got your kids and your husband involved? dont want to make them "believers", but I do need their support by getting rid of stuff that belongs to them as well.. like (at least) 50% of the toys.. if I pick one up that wasnt used since months all of a sudden it is the most important toy again.. :(
