Not to mention that Ron Garney art. I've loved his evolution as an artist. He's gone for very lean and sparse line work on Silver Surfer, to a similar style with a little controlled chaos thrown in. This is one of those high water marks of his career to me. His Hulk run with Byrne would probably would be my probably be my second. His Surfer was elegant and streamlined. A silver humanoid comet thrust through the cosmos like a chrome hood ornament on speed.

I never thought when I was old I would have my comics read to me over an internet tv. You're like me if I were younger and on speed. I see a lot of your books are the trade paperbacks. sweet. We only had the comic books (except for MAD, they were ahead of their time in so many ways...). Thanks again. I was wondering what the 4 were up to after their hiatus.

Considering the bad guy here, you might want to read Doctor Strange from the early '80s, specifically issues 48-53 and 55 (54 is optional). 55 features D,Spayre, but you should read the earlier six-issue arc for context. The art for that arc is by Marshall Rogers and Terry Austin paying tribute to Steve Ditko, while the art art for 55 is by Michael Golden and T.A. (It is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful comics ever published by anyone.)
