What was the deal with the "Road Service" Park and Ride Metro buses?

U barely never see these old buses such as the solo but it’s pretty rare to get on one don’t u think?

These solos are sadly long gone. Last of them got withdrawn in 2020.

A number of them have been sold on to private operators but a quite a lot of them have been sent for scrap.

Was never a big fan of Solo’s. I’ve never traveled on them much and even when I did I never saw the like for them. I did get one recently and it was a Cummins engine so not all bad. Nice Bus Eireann Irizar PB there at the start coming out of Europa, a coach that has also been vanished from the Bus Eireann fleet and now work on schools only
