For sure, they have proven themselves bold and aggressive and clearly armed because ATVs despite not being big, they can still cause serious harm if they run someone over. They are off-road vehicles for a reason.

This happened in the early 60’s. It was a time when snowmobiles were getting very popular. The local & State governments were attempting to provide trails for the Riders could use. The majority of the Riders tried to drive legally but others rode where every the wanted. As one example a group of Riders entered into a farmers field. The farmer had a side hustle of raising Christmas trees. The riders destroyed years of tree growth. Then it happened. Someone strung wire across a trail at chest level. A snowmobile rider hit the wire at chest level at high speed. It killed the rider. The Police did an investigation but the person who had strung the wire was never caught. It the years to come the County governments and Riders clubs worked to improve what had been a very tense situation.

Last story, someone I know works in a school environment. She has been hit, kicked , punched and spat at almost every single school day. This is from nursery to p7= 11-12yrs. She has had her glasses broken and been threatened to have her head literally kicked. I am 60 and there was never this kind of behaviour in my classes. When the belt was withdrawn from school, kids used this as an excuse to go rampant. There is a difference between a smack and a beating. Many kids wouldn’t dare behave like this if parents actually acted like parents and disciplined their children. Often it’s the worst of parents saying my kid is an angel (more like hells angel). I wouldn’t do that job for twice what teachers are paid.

I thought I heard about Reading PA the police are the laziest people I know of.. while there are many police cars. we have none policing the traffic in our section of Reading I've seen two police cars in three months of settling on my front porch watching. There are no speed traps and they let unlicensed motorized the bicycles or motorcycles doing wheelies or speeding never getting find. My God I just realized I'm turning into my grandpa and becoming a grouchy old man,😊😊 H😢
