@c.r.k.7162, unfortunately, Dale and Dee shared a home, businesses, their office was on said property, and a 9 year old daughter. It isn't always easy to distance yourself. Dale was facing bankruptcy while Dee's businesses were lucrative. Part of the problem was that she was no longer willing to put money into his failures.

I have been following this since she was reported missing. Dee had her own business and it was extremely successful. Dale had his own business and it was hard up for money. Bankruptcy hard up. the day after she was reported missing he and his right-hand man committed fraud and took all the funds from her business and transferred them to his business. When she went missing only her blow dryer was missing. License, passport, keys, cash, credit cards, car etc. all remained behind with her wedding ring. We all knew he killed her. He threatened and intimidated people who came forward to speak against him and his constant abuse against her. He was arrested for the fraud charges first.

I actually only became aware of it because I saw a poster in someone's car that said, "WHERE IS SHE, DALE?" and looked into it. It kind of seemed like nothing really started moving until her family went to probate court to have her will executed/have her declared dead. Then they waited until Dale tried to sell something that they were awarded in the will and, boom, he was arrested like a month later.

I'm a simple person. I don't have any property or money and I'm getting old. I have a job right now. I was looking at those aerial photos of those magnificent houses, by the standards of my country, the UK, they are size of small palaces, farm complexes and what have you. Seems these people also had businesses in addition to the farms. The mechanism by which people acquire what seems to me fabulous wealth is a total mystery to me. I think I'll die never knowing, like a child. Then again I never murdered anyone for my own convenience or out of annoyance. It's a world of mystery to me.

Both countries have a shrinking middle class. The 1% and investor classes own and run everything. Successful middle class live well, like this businesswoman did. Then there’s the majority of the middle class who won’t exist in 30 years. Our children will join the ranks of the needy, no savings, in debt and barely affording rent. A farmer doing well in either country these days is rare.

It's literally the same story every time! Chris Watts, Drew Peterson, this guy, and a million others. It's like they are all reading from the same script. Not only is the story played out, it's also just illogical. You want us to believe she left you without taking a penny, or even taking her own clothes and personal belongings? And there's no activity on her bank accounts ever again? And she didn't tell a soul that she was leaving? And she's not answering all the phone calls from worried family and friends because she's just too busy having fun on the beach with her new boyfriend? But there's no record of her taking a plane or a train anywhere and her car is still in the driveway? Ok, sounds totally believable, you're free to go sir.🙄😂

If children are involved, use an contact centre, you drop the kids off, ex can pick them up but if there is anything about them that gives you the heebie geebies he only access has to be supervised. Stay safe, keep the kids safe and be happy. Some people can be unbelievably vengeful, just keep your wits about you. Good luck.

Yes, some men would rather kill, die or go to prison than be extorted. You could resolve that problem by reforming the biased family laws that favor women and punish men in divorce. However, this is not one of those cases. In this case, she was the responsible and successful one and he was the loser. But, due to the aforementioned laws, she had no fear of losing half of everything she owned. If her divorcing him represented the opportunity for a big financial payday for him (as it would for her if the roles were reversed) things might have gone differently.

Glad that her body has been found. Also glad that the individual who put the body in the tank wasn't smart enough to change its contents to something more corrosive that would have dissolved the body entirely

It's important to understand that an anhydrous ammonia tank is a pressure vessel, like a propane tank. It's welded together in the factory, by machines. The only way to get a human body inside is to cut it open (probably with an acetylene torch). Then you would need to replace the piece that was cut out and weld it shut. Even a professional welder would have difficulty doing this without leaving an obvious scar on the tank.

Dear Abuse Victims, male and female. Back in the 80s I was a big Oprah fan. She had a segment about domestic abuse and she made a statement that I have kept front and center ever since. It's kept me out of abusive relationships my entire life. The first time, you're a victim. Every time after that, you're an accomplice. What that means is that when you continue to stay, making excuses and rationalizing, you are contributing to your own abuse when what you should've been doing is putting that energy into ending the relationship and leaving or making sure they have to leave and never get around you again. The sooner you break things off, the less volatile it will be because they haven't invested much into it yet. The longer you take making excuses and rationalizing and sticking around, the more emotionally invested you both will become and their sense of possessiveness regardless of boundaries and safety will increase. When people ask you why you do not walk away and the first thing out of your mouth is "because I love them" or "they didn't mean it", the next thing out of your mouth needs to be "and I am an accomplice in what they do to me next and I am okay with it"

I would say the exception would be if the couple has kids and the victim is afraid for their safety. You might stay after the first time in order to get enough evidence to gain custody in a divorce.

Me and my partner have been together for 14 years (since we were teens). We have two kids now. We have gotten physical with each other a handful of times (not beating each other bloody or anything crazy) and both felt terrible afterwards and we love each other dearly. We haven't done anything like that for about 7 years. So, I think it is a bit of a stretch to say people cannot change or once means it will happen again or it is only one persons fault or it necessarily means they're bad people. Just putting that out there.

Can't believe how long it took the police to find her body. No wonder her family was upset. The neighbors of the property where she was found saw him working on property. Did the police talk to anyone?

the investigators sound pretty hopeless. Farms are full of places and equipment that are great hiding places and all of them should have been searched.

OK, I just moved to a farm town farm area in Central California and I swear I'm born and raised in San Francisco and nothing scares me more than what could be buried under all these farms in the middle of these acres where nobody can see or detective a thing !!

As in Chad Daybell's trial, possession is 9/10 of the law. This guy owned the tank, and the farm, had motive, and it isn't looking good for Dale.

Unfortunately, it's not as simple as having him served with papers. Their home, businesses, farm, trucking, and office were very rural. He was facing bankruptcy while hers was thriving. He was jealous of many things. Dee had bailed his business out for the last time. He forged papers the following day to save himself and back dated them. See how that works? 🤔 He needed her gone. She was strong willed and he couldn't control her.
