I am so glad that I'm not the only one that doesn't turn on all the lights... I prefer the evening when it's getting dark and lighting a candle to cook... My husband ways walks in and turns the lights on... I always say to him "when ur in ur office do I come in and turn off ur computer?!" Lol... The kitchen is MY AREA... 😆 🤣 😂

That's funny-fresh figs come out near me once a year and I try to like them but am not a huge fan with them raw on oatmeal but I'm not sure other ways to cook them. Also, thanks for noting that your kids liked the microwave oatmeal packets. It's a reminder that even with an abundance of homemade food, people and kids will still like some "processed" foods. It's a relief knowing that's normal.

@@shannonmcrae1364 it depends on the countries and the days. I am originaly from Portugal but live at the moment in France. In Portugal we usually have some bread or toast with chocolate milk or milk with coffee, sometimes milk with cereal but at our house I rarely buy cereal because it has too much sugar and my kids won't eat the ones that don't have sugar. The bread or toast we eat with butter or jam. In France it's similar but on the weekends (and week days for some families too) they eat "viennoiseries", they are different cakes made with puff pastry, some have apple inside, some have almond paste, some are empty like the croissant that we fill with ham or jam etc. So we eat mostly simple things that lean more sweet than savoury here. 🙂

Yes, we love apple in the cinnamon scrolls . Weve done them so many ways now. Just yesterday I used some guava paste that I preserved and wasn't getting eaten. I added cinnamon and cubed apples. Delicious then I made pizza scrolls with our homemade pizza sauce but I forgot to leave the sugar out of the dough. Apparently the sweet dough with savoury pizza sauce was delicious anyway. Lol. My sourdough starter was a little tired after some neglect lately and yesterday's sandwich loaf wasn't amazing but still edible. Today the starter is looking so happy that I'll try the sourdough all week method. We are still loving every sourdough recipe here. 🥰🥰

It's nice to see updated videos of your recipes to see how the blog recipes are supposed to turn out! My english muffins look just like yours, but when I try to cook with freshly milled hard white wheat or freshly milled einkorn for the cinnamon rolls or other recipes it can be hit or miss. I have sourdough Starter. I just have questions. The Day I went to make the Bread. I didn’t get to baking the Bread. I put the dough in the fridge. Can I have the dough out for 24 hours and then bake it. I also I saved the discard dough from the feedings. Didn’t want to waste it. I started another starter, with some of it. Some of it I put in a jar and put it in the fridge. Can I use it some how, without feeding it?

@pamelabagwell41902 жыл бұрын
Farm fresh eggs have a coating on them called bloom that protects them against bacteria and air entering the egg. Thus they can safely sit on the counter for weeks unlike store purchased eggs which have been washed and have to be refrigerated. I would be comfortable eating my eggs that have been sitting out for a month or so.

I use Our Farm Fresh Eggs in baking, for breakfast. That have been at room temperature for at least a month. It is such a Blessing to have them for Baking, since most recipes call for room temperature Eggs. Farm Fresh Eggs keep for so much longer than store bought. When buying store bought Eggs they can already be 90 days old.
