Faisal, we own the petrol manual, for bumper to bumper it returns us 8.7-9.0, mixed highway-city 10.5-11.0 and relaxed highway driving 15-16. Whenever I drive, I feel like taking in the chariot feel of the driver’s seat and by automation don’t feel like pushing the car that much and enjoy the insulation and refinement of the engine.

@@shashankkrai4039 yea? Well we're planning a 7str SUV and ive zeroed down on Scorpio Z8 Select, XUV 700 AX5 Select and the safari/harrier base models. Based on your and a lot of ppl's reviews, I think mahindra's Mstallion is a safe bet.

@@shivammplayz4767 Yes absolutely. But please step up to Z8, it really is worth it with the added comforts. Z8L is basically only for speakers. But even the regular ones are quite decent. And please do check for alloys, Z8 manuals don’t get alloys, you have to purchase them separately from the dealership or by other outlets (which would save you around 20k). Also, stick to 17inch tyre size, it’s perfect for ride and comfort. We chose 17inches itself, Mahindra alloys and the experience has been great. If the dealership offers for it, please go for Bridgestone tyres instead of Apollo, they’re just better in grip and tyre life. Very less tyre noise as well.

Australia NCAP crash test given 0 star to Scorpio N. Some people say it’s because there’s no ADAS, but in the crash test report it is written- “The front structure of the Mahindra Scorpio presented a high risk to occupants of an oncoming vehicle in the MPDB test (which evaluates vehicle-to-vehicle compatibility), and the maximum 8.00 point penalty was applied.” Many other points also mentioned in the report. Maybe Mahindra will improve the quality soon, so developed countries like Australia also give 4 or 5 star.
