The back breaks are too big. It would be better to shut off the back breaks all together until y'all find a conversation for those front disk breaks to make them smaller. Shutting off the back breaks will keep them from locking up and trying to pass up the front wheels that are still rolling

Not sure a proportioning valve will help enough. The rear rotors/brakes are so much bigger than the fronts. I said that would be a problem in an early video. Gonna need much bigger fronts first, then balance them. Or it'll never stop decently at the speeds it can reach now.

Stock motors will make 650-700 no problem and by stock I mean bone stock..if it has decent mileage just change chain,guides and tensioner..stock motor will rev to 9200rpm no problem. K-Series power is incredible.

You essentially have front brakes in the rear... you need to upgrade you front brakes and/or divert more braking power to the front using a proportioning valve.

There's a reason really fast drag cars have an extra-long wheelbase, increased stability. This car may have too much power for its short wheelbase. A drag chute may be needed just to stop it from swapping ends under hard braking.

potatoe4221 I once had a car that lost the front brakes, it wanted to spin 360’s when only the rear brakes locked up, so yeah, looks like a brake imbalance is making it unstable. The good news is that it shouldn’t be too hard correct.

They mentioned it needs a different proportioning valve, it's sending too much grab to the rear brakes. Also they did some alignment to it after this, Jeremy said it was REALLY off before, now it doesn't buck so hard to the side under accel or braking. it still wants to spin like a top, but it's more controllable now.

People who haven't driven short wheelbase cars seriously have no clue. I drive an Abarth, which is a bit longer than a Smart, but still pretty short. It will swap ends on you WAY easy under hard braking. Can be used to one's advantage to get oversteer when needed, but takes some time to learn how it's different. However, when you're at triple digits, you gotta be extremely careful on the brakes. You cannot just "haul down" from those speeds or you're going to end up sideways and rolling. I generally just feather the brake until I'm under 90 or so then I can start to get more serious, but still don't even dream of turning the wheel while braking unless I'm actually *wanting* rotation.
