@Deer-Run-Farms
@Deer-Run-Farms 3 жыл бұрын
Thay was my first thought also. Hopefully there is a good explanation for not doing that and it's not that they just didn't think of it.... That and I think that trans needs to come out and get looked at by a trans shop that builds performance transmissions for Honda's. Something is up with that one two shift. I know nothing about the trans but something isnt right. I would take the whole car honestly because they had to make up brackets and stuff to make the shift linkage work so I think something isnt lined up right and needs to be fixed before they go back to the track. No point in racing a car that you cant shift it's like being a one legged man in an ass kicking competition. And by no means do I mean any disrespect you guys are fighting alot of opsticals and I'm just watching from my arm chair! Keep on pushing I would love to see this thing making clean passes!
@NoMatureContent
@NoMatureContent 3 жыл бұрын
@@Deer-Run-Farms Nothing you've said is unreasonable. I've done enough racing to know that the answer to most shit is the most obvious thing almost burning your nose its so close to it. But a prop valve to redistribute brake pressure is... even more obvious? The trans.. Yeah I dunno. I've never played with Honda stuff before but I would imagine its either a linkage issue or an internal problem. From what I've seen of Boosted Bois stuff, Honda gearboxes shift like shit at the best of time. Maybe they just need to go to a sequential?
@RobDuggan
@RobDuggan 3 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the exact same thing.... can afford thousands and thousands for the engine/turbo/fabrication work on all the cars they have.... but a simple proportioning valve is beyond their reach? I know they're out to make content.... but brakes are a serious safety thing the car should have had. Whoever green lighted that decision is a certified dumbass.
@eriklarson9137
@eriklarson9137 3 жыл бұрын
@@RobDuggan Correct. The whole crew knows and understand them. They've used them on camera before. This must just be to get views but that is a really dumb game to play, because as we can see from the comments. The real car people know this is idiotic and we know THEY know better. Views aren't everything.

It'll be wrecked again soon enough. The car is simply too short to be pushing that much power and at the speeds they're expecting. If this thing breaks loose at speed, it's toast. It'll be sideways before the driver can react. Look at when it broke the axle and how fast it darted off to the side. They built it as a burnout car, it needs to stay that way. But hey, it's their money and their health. They can do what they want.

Ive said it multiple times, if you take a front wheel suspension and turn it 180 and use it as a rear axle rolling in the wrong direction you completly mess up the suspension geometry and how the wheel changes geometry while it compresses. Im not suprised in the slighest the car doesnt drive straight under power.

Well here's the deal, if I'm watchin your video while droppin a deuce I'd like a shorter video mainly because my legs fall asleep if I sit on the ole throne to long. If I'm chillin in my trusty lazy boy then video length just doesn't matter.

Jeremy's Wife: "This car is SKETCHY." Yeah... that's pretty much been my thought since the beginning. Glad that this was a low-speed incident, and that everyone's OK. But as neat as this car is, it makes me nervous that next time he won't be so lucky.
